Under the clear blue Yatsugatake blue sky, the ski resort offers views of the Yatsugatake mountain range and Mount Tateshina. As soon as you enter the ski area, the "Family Slope" and "Center Slope" for beginners and novice skiers are right in front of you. The lifts that run over the two slopes move slowly, making it easy to get on and off, and are known as "yukku lifts. Staff/staff members provide gentle support and are always ready to help.
Lessons are available for ages 5 and up, and a variety of packages are available, including group lessons in 3-hour increments and family packages.

From snow play to gourmet food, you can enjoy skiing without losing track of time!

For younger children who want to get used to the snow, visit the "Kids Park" where they can play in the snow and play with plastic skis. Sledding, trampolines, and tubing are all available for children to have fun in the snow. A variety of high-quality gear is available for rent, which is reassuring for families who want to go light.

For a limited time only, a mini-slope has been set up in the hotel to allow guests to get acquainted with snow in a natural way. If you get tired of the snow or if the weather is bad, there is a swimming pool and a café where you can enjoy reading a good book. Fujimi Kogen Ski Resort / RISONARE Yatsugatake

First experience skiing with a smile on the gentle and warm southern slopes!

Direction is excellent, taking only 10 minutes from the Kobuchizawa Interchange. Of the two courses, the "Romance Slope," which is approximately 100 meters wide and has a gentle slope with an average grade of 8 degrees, is perfect for beginners to practice skiing. If the weather permits, take a single-lift ride in boots or ski boots to the "Mochi no Oka Observation Hill" where there is a "Wood Deck Above the Clouds. Fuji, Kitadake, and Okuhotaka, Japan's three highest peaks.
There is a diaper changing area in the restroom to the left of the entrance to Kids Snow Land, and a nursing room in the "Hot Room" next to it.

Snow Kids" is a ski lesson program developed by Hoshino Resorts. At the mini-slope in Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake, guests can take "Snowdz Lv. 1" lessons (30-45 minutes) to familiarize themselves with the snow before heading out to the ski slopes. Guests can rent wear and gear for free in the hotel, and a free shuttle bus will take you to the ski slopes. A powder snow ski heaven is right in front of the hotel!

The slopes are attached to a highland resort hotel on the shore of Lake Shirakaba in Nagano Prefecture. At an elevation of approximately 1,450 meters, with 80% clear skies, you can enjoy resort-like skiing with comfortable snow quality. There are a total of three courses, mainly for fun in the snow and for beginners and novice skiers. Ski lessons are available for children as young as 4 years old, and thanks to instruction using special training equipment for beginners, many children quickly make progress. A "pick-up lesson" is also available for those with infants and toddlers whose parents cannot make it to the slopes. Pick-up service is available in front of the rental ski counter in the hotel, and private lessons of any level are available.

Saku Ski Garden Parada

A typical one-day family skiing experience right off the highway!

The only ski resort in Japan directly connected to an expressway, Direction is the best in Japan. The slopes spread out at the foot of Mt. Hirao, 1,155 meters above sea level, boast a 90% sunny weather rate, so you can expect a pleasant skiing debut. The entire Property is based on the concept of being "family-friendly," with parking with few steps, easy access to the slopes, and about 80% of the courses for beginners and intermediate skiers.
The ski area is divided into "North Parada" and "South Parada," each of which has a space for kids at the foot of the slope. Children can play to their heart's content in the "Snow Square" and on the sledding slopes.

Children can take a lesson, while adults can enjoy a long cruise.

Lessons for debutant kids are available for ages 3 and up. The lessons are held on the beginners' slopes, using specially developed ski boards that make it easy to move forward even on flat terrain. Parents can watch from the entrance to the slopes or go for a quick run on the scenic course until the end of the lesson.
The rental spotlight is on the "empty-handed rental package" (for ages 3 to 6th grade). This popular package includes a one-day pass to Kids' Land and rental of snow wear, snow boots, and gloves.

Kamui Misaka Ski Resort
