Hotaka shrine

Hotaka shrine where Jin in a sea who has Azumi group of Kita-kyushu in a descendant deifies the ear Takami life (HOTA or, it's seen and drunk, fact). Rokuzan (ROKUZAN) museum of art

The museum of art where a work for the genius sculptor from Azumino called "Oriental Rodin" and Ogiwara Morie (Rokuzan) is exhibited. Since it opens in 1958 (1958), a sculpture work for the author who has a close relation with Rokuzan as well as Rokuzan's work are also exhibited much. I keep sending a Japanese modern sculpture as the museum of art which represents Azumino.
"Gooseberry house" etc. in the "display, ridge" "morikoukan" resting room is provided centering on a building of red brick of the church wind in which the ivy enjoying a local person as a symbol in Azumino is entangled "Rokuzan house" in the site. I relieve my thirst for water of Ido who sat down on a big bench by outdoor a grove equals, enjoyed the landscape of the each season and drew groundwater, and if, it's possible to touch nature in Azumino.

Azumino kou Tokio Hashi (or, Setsu of chopsticks, wax) commemoration museum of art

The museum of art where job performance of an author of lacquer arts and crafts and kou Tokio Hashi from Azumino city is introduced. I'm the artist who raised lacquer arts and crafts to pure fine arts from arts and crafts, and it's awarded an Order of Cultural Merit in 1997 (1997).
A birthplace on the thatched roof registered with national tangible cultural property is reconstructed and restored in the site in the museum of art in the old Kitahotaka, Hotaka-machi area where I was born and grew up. The picture which was drawn in childhood in the pit and the sitting-room where living in Azumino is told is exhibited, and it can be visited for free of charge.
Numerous Namematsu of age of the tree 100 everlasting and the mossy garden where a rudimentary knowledge maple is seen are also artistic, and you can't overlook.
