Peynet museum of art

In the country where a work for French painter Raymond Peynet famous for "Peynet's sweetheart series" is exhibited, the only museum of art.
The gentleness among which love and a peaceful message were included and the warm character are rich in chicken and something which made the naturalness a motif including an animal for Peynet's picture, and fond all over the world there.
The one by which architect Antonin Raymond built a building as a private house in 1933 (1933). It's a cultural heritage of Karuizawa by present and fits the world of Peynet's picture which is a fairy tale tic. When I walk inside of the building, I hear sound with MISHIMMISHI and have taste.
A work of an original along a theme, a lithograph (print) and a poster has 3 closets featuring a big room with a wellhole, and is exhibited.

Liked picture and frame can be combined and chosen, and there are a lot of people who buy it for themselves, but a painting seat is also appreciated by a present. Neither "Peynet wine" etc. of French direct import nor the repeater who has that and is looking forward to a new goods every year are little. Temporary exhibition is about 3 times a year. Even if I come, how many times is the device which can be enjoyed done?

Karuizawa Senju Hiroshi museum of art

The Japanese-style painter who attracts attention worldwide The museum of art where a work for Senju Hiroshi can be appreciated. About 50 points are always exhibited including the "waterfall" which is a masterpiece.
There is a Calla leaf garden where about 60,000 stocks planted more than 150 kinds of plant in a site in about 3000 tsubo, and various plants can be enjoyed by a season.
The architect who participated in layout of 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Mr. Nishizawa ritsumamoru take charge of a building. When opposing Oku from an entrance, a floor using inclination of the topography which was here originally remembers the strange sense to walk along a slope.

The bakery cafe where I drop by a gallery in addition to museum of art, a museum shop and long-established store bakery "BURANJE Asano shop" is also juxtaposed in the site. I loose for good bread and coffee after enjoyment of a picture.
Original products and a book are sold at a museum shop. A postcard and a plastic folder are popular. There are also original products which made the deer a motif, the deer by which Mr. Senju met this at a forest when one was looking for fall, is a model. Even the picture book to which I say "at night when a star falls" appears. The remarkable book this picture book is letterless, and a reader imagines and reads a story, and which is advanced. An impression of an original can also be enjoyed at home.

Small museum of art Karuizawa plants house

The painter who kept loving and drawing plants of Karuizawa Koichi Ishikawa's personal museum of art. I possess about 950 kinds of plants, 3000 sketches and the oil painting which grow naturally in Karuizawa and exhibit a picture of the right plants the season.
Place blessed with the various ecosystems which also have a vertical drop for Karuizawa and also have a forest, grassland and wetlands. To climb a mountain with a pencil and a sketch tool of aquarelle and draw the form of the plants frankly, until Koichi Ishikawa died in 2007, I threw in something extra at the place completely.
The flower by which the "daily lily" which blooms around Asama in particular is summer, another name "Asa Maki sedge". Ishikawa is drawing preferably as "the flower which seems to be Karuizawa", and I'll make a beautiful flower bloom in the evening like the name.

A rare vegetable picture of Karuizawa is exhibited a lot.

There is display space in the 1st floor and the 2nd floor, and oil painting is mixed with aquarelle by the 2nd floor and about 30 points are exhibited. "ENBISENNOU" "KARUIZAWATSURISUGE" "Hana cucurbit, I" "AZUMAGIKU" also possesses the rare vegetable picture which was hardly seen any more in Karuizawa where development was developed, and it's also valuable material.
The other original products which exhibit a watercolor painting sketch mainly are also sold on the 1st floor. A postcard is most popular and there are also a plastic folder and stationery.
Koichi Ishikawa who kept drawing by a delicate touch while watching plants of Karuizawa gently. The "small plants" we usually leave is the museum of art which affects the heart which can find loveliness of the cut newly.

Karuizawa new art museum

Museum of art along Menuki Street which continues from Karuizawa station. It's domestic and abroad including Kusama Yayoi and the new artistry of world all part is being introduced in spite of the genre and nationality in recent years in addition to a work for the present-day art author who plays an active part. There are a gallery and a museum shop on the 1st floor, both are a free entrance. The person who visits in a sightseeing opportunity becomes casual at the place you can enter, too.
