1Atami hot spring Atami pudding
Atami Hot Spring Atami Pudding, a store located in a back alley about a 3-minute walk from JR Atami Station, sells pudding, soft-serve ice cream, and other sweets. There is always a line of customers waiting in front of the store.
The most popular item, Atami Pudding with Special Caramel Syrup, is an original creation inspired by the Atami hot spring that blows up. It is carefully handmade one by one, watching for subtle changes in temperature according to the temperature. The product is steamed slowly to achieve a smooth texture. With a simple flavor that makes the most of the taste of the ingredients without using any unnecessary ingredients, it is loved by people of all ages, from children to the elderly.
It features a variety of sauces to choose from, including handmade caramel sauce as well as seasonal sauces and espresso. 2Kaze no Ie
Kaze no Ie is located on a hill with a great view, about 15 minutes by car from JR Atami Station. It is a hideaway café that makes use of a house as it is.
Surrounded by greenery, the entrance looks like a scene out of a nostalgic movie. A must-try is the homemade apple pie with a rustic flavor. The hot apple pie has a comforting taste with just the right amount of sweetness. It goes great with the vanilla ice cream topping.
The interior is a quiet space where you can relax without hesitation.
We recommend sitting on the terrace, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Atami. On a clear day, you can even see Hatsushima Island in the distance. Open only Friday through Sunday and holidays.

3Mase Atami Sakimicho
A long-established Japanese confectionary store established in 1872. Its wagashi, made with the finest ingredients, are popular not only among tourists but also among locals. We are especially particular about water. In order to produce delicious confections, the shop is so particular that it owns its own water production machine that uses natural underground water.
The shop also has a coffee shop, which is ideal for taking a break. The recommended item on the cafe menu is "authentic kuzukiri. The kuzukiri is freshly made to order and has a smooth texture that goes down your throat.
Izu no Odoriko," a popular baked sweet with white bean paste and walnuts, is sold year-round. Another attraction of the shop is the sweets that can be encountered when visiting, such as seasonal sweets and the top-selling sweets of the month.

4Restaurant & Sweets Flower Fairy
A 15-minute drive from Atami Station along the coast toward Ito will take you to Nishikigaura, a scenic spot in Atami where you can also view powerful, oddly-shaped stones. The restaurant is located near the New Akao resort hotel along the coast. Popular sweets are seasonal parfaits. The parfaits are generous in volume, using an abundance of seasonal fruits such as mangoes and peaches in summer and strawberries in winter. The combination of the refreshing sourness of the fruit and fresh cream is a perfect match.
Seats by the window overlook the Sagaminada Sea and the Nishikigaura cliffs, providing a powerful ocean view. We recommend stopping by after enjoying the seasonal flowers at the Akao Herb & Rose Garden, located about 1 km from the store.
