Another appeal is being able to head out for a walk with your dog directly from the terrace. When you return, you can clean off any dirt at the dedicated paw-washing station and go straight back into the room.
17:00 Keiryu Open-air Bath
Refresh in the "Mountain Stream Open-Air Bath" surrounded by nature
The cool breeze blowing across the mountain stream feels pleasant on a warmed body.
Before dinner, soothe the fatigue of your journey in the open-air bath overlooking the mountain stream. While admiring the vivid fresh green leaves or the colorful autumn foliage, you can enjoy the gentle hot spring water that gushes from Mount Hakkoda. In winter, a frozen waterfall, or "ice fall," appears in the open-air bath.
18:30 Buffet Restaurant "Aomori Apple Kitchen"
Experience the rich bounty of Aomori with an apple-themed buffet
Apple-shaped lighting made from Aomori's "BUNACO" craft and "Tsugaru Vidro" apple objects decorate the space.
Aomori Prefecture is the number one producer of apples in Japan. The buffet restaurant is lined with creative apple dishes. At the live kitchen, please enjoy freshly made dishes such as roast beef. The "piping hot apple pie" served with soft-serve ice cream will melt both your body and soul.
Day 2
07:30 Buffet Restaurant "Aomori Apple Kitchen"
Wake up refreshed with a varied breakfast
Just like dinner, a wide array of original menu items incorporating apples are available.
For the breakfast buffet, please enjoy freshly squeezed apple juice to wake you up. We recommend the French toast finished in the live kitchen and the morning ramen with the rich flavor of scallops and kelp.

Savor "Lake Towada Himemasu" while gazing at the lake
"Grilled Himemasu (Kokanee salmon) set meal." Includes mini Inaniwa zaru udon, candied smelt from Lake Towada, small side dishes, rice, and more.
After a long walk and working up an appetite, we headed to Lake Towada, the source of the Oirase Mountain Stream. At this restaurant on the lakeshore, you can enjoy local dishes from both Aomori and Akita prefectures, including cuisine featuring Lake Towada's specialty, the himemasu (kokanee salmon), as well as Inaniwa udon and kiritanpo. Pets are welcome on the terrace and at seats near the entrance. While you can visit without a reservation, it is safer to book during busy seasons.
As the name "hime" (princess) suggests, the himemasu is a fish with a beautiful appearance and color, known as the regional brand "Lake Towada Himemasu." We recommend the "Grilled Himemasu Set Meal." The freshly grilled fish is fragrant, and its flavor spreads with every bite. It takes about 15 minutes to grill, but it is a masterpiece worth the wait.

Work up an appetite for Towada's soul food, Bara-yaki
The "Towada Bara-yaki Lunch" served during the day is 1,200 yen.
Towada's local specialty, "Towada Bara-yaki," is a dish of beef ribs and onions seasoned with a sweet and spicy soy-based sauce and grilled on an iron plate. Currently, over 80 restaurants in Towada City serve Bara-yaki, and the unique arrangements at each shop are a hot topic. This restaurant is an antenna shop for the local revitalization group "Towada Bara-yaki Seminar," and you can choose between beef or pork ribs.
In addition to the a la carte dish, a "Towada Bara-yaki Lunch" set is available, which includes rice, soup, and pickles. The sweet and spicy soy sauce, made with Towada-grown garlic and Aomori apples, goes perfectly with the meat and onions, making it a great companion for rice. Your dog will have to wait for a bit. Create memories with your dog on the expansive lawn
"Tanesashi Natural Lawn." Nearby is the "Tanesashi Coast Information Center," which is convenient for gathering information.
At the end of your trip, head to a scenic spot in Hachinohe City. Tanesashi Coast, located within Sanriku Fukko National Park, is a nationally designated place of scenic beauty where over 650 species of plants grow wild. From spring to autumn, a wide variety of flowers bloom in abundance.
A walking path is maintained along the long coastline, making it popular as a trail course as well. There are plenty of highlights, such as Kabushima Island where black-tailed gulls dance, rugged reefs, and white sandy beaches, but the "Tanesashi Natural Lawn" is the most iconic spot on the Tanesashi Coast. It is a scenic area where natural grass spreads right up to the water's edge, creating a vivid contrast with the sea. You can spend your time however you like, whether playing with your dog or taking photos against the backdrop of the stunning sea and lawn. Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash at the natural lawn. Also, don't forget to clean up after your pet.
