1Campana Rokkatei
Furano limited edition sweets from a famous store representing Hokkaido
Rokkatei is known for its famous "Marusei Butter Sandwich," a confectionary representative of Hokkaido. Among the approximately 70 Rokkatei stores in Hokkaido (as of October 2019), the store is located in the midst of a 24,000-tsubo vineyard, which is a luxurious location. The limited-edition "Furano Mochi" is a bean cake filled with Furano red peas. The hot, soft rice cake baked to order is perfectly balanced with the salty taste of the beans and the soft sweetness of the sweet bean paste inside. The grape omelette with fluffy dough is also an original. It is filled with fresh cream and grape jelly made with grape juice from the surrounding vineyards.
The breathtaking view from inside the glass-walled store
The high-ceilinged, open-air store allows customers to enjoy shopping and refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere. The panoramic view of the vineyards and the Daisetsuzan mountain range from the large windows is breathtaking. Furthermore, next to the store is a large bell tower that bears the name of the store, "Campana (bell)," and nine times a day, the bell rings pleasantly in your ears amidst the magnificent scenery. Its overwhelming location makes it a popular tourist spot.
Also located on the premises is Jingisukan Shirakaba, a famous Jingisukan restaurant with its main branch in Obihiro, and the "Garden of the Playing Gods" gallery.

2Poplar Farm
A dynamic sweet with soft-serve ice cream in a half-sliced melon
Santa's Whiskers" has become one of Furano's most popular sweets, thanks to the popularity of its bold, bold design of half a melon topped with a generous amount of soft-serve ice cream. This original, hearty sweet is made with a luxurious half melon and topped with a generous amount of soft-serve ice cream. The name comes from the fact that the soft serve ice cream looks like Santa Claus' mustache when turned upside down. The melons are carefully selected according to the time of year, without being particular about where they are grown. The soft serve ice cream has a refreshing flavor that goes well with the melon.
Unique "Santa's Beard" series
The menu varies from standard items to those with an added twist. Unique names include "Santa de Melon" using melon soft serve ice cream with melon juice and "Godzilla's Whiskers" topped with chocolate sauce. When a large size melon arrives, "Mega Santa" with double the amount of soft serve ice cream is also available. The playful, impactful, and unmistakable taste of the ice cream makes it a popular stop for customers.
The terrace seats offer a view of the Tokachi Mountain Range.

3Confectionery Studio Flano Delice
Pioneer of Furano sweets
Furano Sweets is a confectionery store representing Furano sweets that focuses on local ingredients. The Furano Milk Pudding, in particular, is a pioneer in the use of milk bottles as containers for pudding. It is the most popular nationally known take-out sweet. In addition, Furano Delice is the originator of "Douvre Fromage," which is made by layering two types of cheesecake. The softly melting mascarpone cheese mousse and the rich baked cheesecake, two different textures and flavors that mingle in the mouth, make it even more delicious.
A café on the hilltop where you can enjoy our signature sweets
The store is located on top of a small hill and commands a panoramic view of Furano city, and the "Delice Cafe" inside the store allows customers to enjoy the sweets while admiring the spectacular view. To be enjoyed with the sweets is the specialty coffee made from organic green beans roasted in-house, and the "mildly bitter blend" made from three types of beans enhances the sweetness of the sweets.
The special "French Toast," made with homemade bread soaked in liquid "Furano Pudding" for 12 hours, is limited to 12 servings per day. It is sometimes sold out as soon as the cafe opens.

4Ezoam Pudding Factory
Popular pudding limited to 24 pieces per day
Ezoam pudding, Furano's famous sweet, can be a six-month wait to order when reservations are intensive. The store is located in a small village deep in the mountains of Furano. The pudding is made in a small production facility located on top of a hill surrounded by fields. The pudding is made with Hokkaido ingredients such as fresh eggs from a neighboring village, freshly squeezed milk, and natural sugar. Only 24 puddings are baked per day in an unglazed vessel measuring approximately 20 cm in diameter. The secret of the delicious taste is the painstaking style of baking, checking the heat every five minutes and staying at the bakery for three hours.
The more it matures, the richer and more delicious it becomes!
Shelf life is approximately one week. As time passes, the caramel mixed into the dough becomes milder and smoother in the mouth. The recommended way to eat it is to cut it like a cake and eat it with the creamy baked part. The light pudding is mixed with the rich cream, and its complex flavor is addictive.
Since it is easier to buy directly from the store than from a local distributor, you can also purchase it during your trip by making a reservation in advance. If you want to eat them at your accommodation, contact them in advance and they will reserve them for you at the best ripened state.

7MERLE
A café in the forest where you can relax with carefully selected teas and handmade sweets
The owner and his wife, who were fascinated by the beautiful nature and environment of Biei, moved to the area about 10 years ago and opened a pastry store with a tea room, focusing on French pastries. There are always more than 10 varieties available, from standard items such as cheesecakes, puddings, and tarts to seasonal sweets such as "Veggie Fruit Cake" and "Warabi Mochi" using fruits grown in Hokkaido and vegetables from nearby farms. The most popular item is the "Afternoon Tea Set. It includes two kinds of cakes, three kinds of baked sweets, and scones, all carefully made without using any additives.
A lineup of a wide variety of teas
To accompany the sweets, the owner's hobby has led him to purchase black tea. The shop offers an impressive selection of more than a dozen varieties, including high-quality Darjeeling tea from a tea plantation at the foot of the Himalayas and "Natasha," a representative Russian tea that was a favorite of the Romanoff dynasty. During the summer, original iced tea with seasonal fruits and syrups is also available.
The small store nestled in the forest is a renovated old house that was taken over from a farmer. From the space to the sweets, it offers a special time that will soothe both your mind and stomach.
