The specialty is the "Kutouryuu mochi," a baked manju (bun with a sweet bean paste) wrapped in a soft and fluffy dough. The mochi is made with Japanese ingredients, using Dainagon azuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, for the bean paste and a blend of rice flour from "Hiyokumochi" rice cakes produced in Kyushu and potato starch from Odawara for the dough.
