3Iriomotejima Outdoor Tour POLEPOLE "Canoe (Kayak) + Geki Narrow Caving
A thrilling Experience combining mangrove kayaking and cave exploration
A guide who is well versed in the nature of Iriomote Island will take you mangrove kayaking and caving paddling on the vast river. Pick-up service will be provided at your lodge or port at a fixed time, so it is easy to get around. Tour equipment is available for rent, so you only need to bring a change of clothes, valuables, and a minimum of other personal belongings.
As the name of the tour suggests, the caves are extremely narrow, but they are very popular because they offer a more thrilling Experience than regular caving. Participants are highly satisfied with the tour, and even if it rains, as long as the precipitation is not too heavy, the tour will go ahead without problems.
Fantastic scenery spreads out from the world of darkness
The river you will visit by kayak is chosen by a dedicated guide at a spot that is less crowded, so you can enjoy the feeling of having a private tour. After lunch, it's time to try your hand at caving. The tour is held year-round, but it gets very hot in the summer, so be sure to drink plenty of water. Once you pass through the cave, which is so narrow that a single person can barely pass through, the scenery changes dramatically and a mysterious landscape unfolds.
In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour, please consult with us in advance if you are concerned about your physical condition or have any chronic illnesses or phobias. Please note that due to the nature of the tour, participants must be junior high school students or older.
