Chinsuko is from the family of Arakaki Shukuki, a cook of the Ryukyu Dynasty, and is a confectionery store that widely promotes Ryukyu sweets while inheriting the tradition. While preserving the culture of chinsuko, which uses flour, sugar, and lard, the store pursues new flavors, and its directly managed stores sell odd flavors such as ginger, cinnamon, island pepper, coffee, and caramel macchiato.
The Kinsokou, made with Agu lard, is carefully crafted one by one with a special die, and has a smooth texture. The luxurious packaging makes them ideal as gifts for special occasions.
While regular products can be purchased at supermarkets, directly-managed stores also offer seasonal limited edition products and traditional confections other than chinsouko. Many of these products are not available at other stores, so why not visit?

In addition to the standard dark and milk varieties, there are also seasonal products and premium varieties that focus on chocolate.

Chinsuko Chocolat," a chocolate-coated Chinsuko, was developed about 20 years ago by Fashion Candy, a chocolate specialty store. The chinsuko is not too sweet to complement the sweetness of the chocolate, and the hollow inside is not heavy and has a crispy texture. On the other hand, the chocolate is blended to match the Chinsuko and melts smoothly in the mouth.
The premium version, sold to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Chinsuko Chocolat, uses single bean dark chocolate from Ecuador. It is a mature taste that shows the attention to detail that only a chocolate specialty store can offer. Strawberry and white chocolate are also available depending on the season, so be sure to check them out.
The salt chinsuko is made with baked salt, and the heart and flower shapes are very cute!

The colorful "vegan salt chinsuko" from "Island Kitchen Kafuu," which makes animal-free sweets without white sugar, dairy products, or eggs, is also fun to look at. Each of the five colors is the color of the ingredients: coconut, pumpkin, green tea, red sweet potato, and brown sugar cocoa. The ingredients have a gentle flavor, with a moderate sweetness and a hint of saltiness, and the crispy texture and melt-in-your-mouth texture are addictive.
By not using animal ingredients, it is easy on the body and can be eaten without guilt. Even without the fact that they are made with vegan ingredients, they are colorful, cute, and delicious.
