4Yanbaru Hatajin (Harusaa) Project "Yanbaru Spice Salt
Blended with ingredients carefully grown by Yanbaru farmers
Yanbaru" means "mountain plain," and refers to the mountains, fields, and other natural areas in the northern part of Okinawa's main island. It is an area where you can experience firsthand the unspoiled and magnificent nature.
Farmers, processors, and restaurants in the Yanbaru area have teamed up in the "Yanbaru Hatarito Project" to promote the deliciousness and fun of Yanbaru. Their "Yanbaru Spice Salt" uses 75% Yanbaru-grown ingredients, but they continue to evolve with the goal of making it 100% Yanbaru-grown.
An all-purpose seasoning that goes well with fried foods, salads, and stir-fries
The fresh Yanbaru-produced ingredients are carefully powdered to create a spice that retains its fresh aroma. The blended Yagaji Island salt is carefully produced using the traditional salt-making method, the irihama method, which utilizes the ebb and flow of the tide. The spice salt, blended in a perfect balance, can be used in a variety of ways, including seasoning meat, stir-frying dishes such as chanpuru, and dipping salt for tempura.
Yanbaru Spice Salt can be purchased at the "Roadside Station Kusuda Yanbaru Product Center," where specialties from 12 municipalities in the Yanbaru region are available. The Yanbaru Vegetable Pickles are also a popular product.

5Akamaruso "Tankan Dressing
A dressing made with tangcans, which are characterized by their rich sweetness
The tangerine is said to have been created through natural crossbreeding between the ponkan and navel orange. It is a citrus fruit characterized by its low acidity and rich sweetness. It is harvested mainly in Kagoshima and the main island of Okinawa, and is well known as a tropical orange.
Tangerines grown in the full sun of Okinawa contain about twice as much vitamin C as Onshu mandarins. The freshness and sweetness of the citrus and the spiciness of the black pepper are well balanced, and when paired with salads, marinades, and meat dishes as well as salads, it upgrades the dishes with a tropical feel.
Packaged in a special box and recommended as a small gift
In addition to the Tankan dressing, the Shima Ichiban series from the manufacturer Akamaruso includes other dressings and ponzu vinegars made with Okinawan ingredients such as shikwasa, island chili peppers, and salt. At the sales counter of the "Itoman City Products Center YU-KURA" located in Itoman Roadside Station, special boxes are available for 2-bottle, 3-bottle, and 5-bottle sets, so you can choose your favorite flavor and pack it in a box for a slightly more formal gift.

6Seiwa Foods "Mozuku Udon".
Nutritious dried noodles with plenty of fresh mozuku seaweed from Iheya Island
While wheat flour, salt, and water are the ingredients for ordinary noodles, mozuku udon is made only with wheat flour produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido, and fresh mozuku seaweed from Iheya Island. These noodles are made with the saltiness and sliminess of mozuku seaweed itself.
Noodles kneaded with something, such as chasoba, are made by adding about 3% powdered mozuku to the wheat flour, but mozuku udon noodles use about 30% raw mozuku to the wheat flour. Mozuku's nutrients such as iron, dietary fiber, and calcium remain in the noodles. Mozuku itself is a tasteless seaweed that is light and easy to eat.
If you see this product on sale for tasting, you must try it!
Mozuku udon is sold as a set of dried noodles and dipping sauce. If boiled softly, it can be used as baby food. The boiling water contains the flavor and nutrients of mozuku, so it can be used to dilute mentsuyu (men-tsuyu) or served as soba-yu (buckwheat noodle soup).
At Michi-no-Eki Xuden, tastings are sold every day, and the taste is so good that some people even eat another helping. It can be served cold in the hot season, or warm in the cold season, or added to hot pots and pans.

Mozuku Udon (2-pack) 750 yen, (4-pack) 1,400 yen
