What do you recommend (places, experiences, food) in the area?: Gotanda Hills is a retro building with a Showa-era atmosphere that houses many truly delicious restaurants in Gotanda, which is known as a gourmet town. Not only is the food delicious, but you can also feel the warmth and connection of the people in the downtown area, making it an attractive deep spot that you will want to return to once you have visited.

Please tell us about the hole in the wall you know because you work there!: There are many restaurants that serve delicious menchikatsu! Menchikatsu is not a main dish in Gotanda, and I never had a chance to eat it until I came to Gotanda, but most restaurants in Gotanda have menchikatsu on their menus, and they are all delicious. Since Gotanda is also a town of meat, different restaurants use different meats and have different characteristics, so you can't help but ask for them.

Tell us about your most memorable trip, with whom and where you went!: I was most impressed with France, where I visited to obtain a floral certification. I visited flower shops in Paris and made bouquets for the flower artist of my dreams. I became addicted to pain au chocolat after eating it in France.

What do you do on your days off?: I love to eat, so I go out to the streets of Gotanda on my days off for a rewarding meal. I ask the restaurant staff to introduce me to recommended drinks that go well with my meal, and I enjoy them.

Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?: Of course I enjoy the scenery while traveling, but I also like to read books, so I always bring one with me to read while traveling or on the road. I select a book that I can finish reading on the way back to the hotel.
