Enjoy with your children! Sightseeing spots in Atami

Atami is a great place to visit with children, as it offers a wide range of marine leisure activities including swimming and hot spring properties, and many attractions are concentrated around the station area. Because of its easy Direction from central Tokyo, day trips are also possible. Also, since the surrounding area is surrounded by mountains, a 30-minute bus ride will take you to lush greenery, making it a place where you can enjoy both the ocean and the mountains. Here are some spots where not only children but also their fathers and mothers can enjoy themselves together.

Not far from downtown Atami, the beach representing Atami is about a 15-minute walk from Atami Station. During the summer season, it attracts many bathers. The waves are quiet because of the breakwater, and the blue ocean and sandy beach stretches for about 400 meters. The beach is surrounded by palm trees and hotels, giving it a resort-like atmosphere.
There are coin lockers, changing rooms (for women only), diaper changing stations, several free showers and foot-washing stations, and a ramp to enter and exit the beach, making it a child-friendly beach.
The Moon Terrace, Rainbow Deck, and other boardwalks are also available, making it perfect for strolling as well as swimming. A "kids' area" has also been newly established on the beach, allowing families with children to enjoy swimming in peace.

Kids will have a blast at the water park!

A "kids' area" has been established at the beach in conjunction with the opening of the beach, allowing families with children to enjoy swimming in peace.
Anyone can use the area as long as they follow the rules. In addition to the kids' area, there is also a water park where children can play for a fee to keep them occupied.
