Enjoy winter cherry blossom viewing at the famous "Atami Cherry Blossom Viewing" spot
Atami cherry blossoms" are at their best from January. It is a type of cold-blooming cherry tree native to India, which was brought to Atami by Italians in the early Meiji period (1868-1912) and is known as an early-blooming cherry tree. 3Marufuku Garden
Experience mandarin orange picking at a popular farm
Marufuku Garden, a mandarin orchard, is located along Route 135, on the border between Kanagawa and Shizuoka Prefectures. In Atami, "mikan picking" is available at several farms during the winter season from October to January. In addition to mandarin oranges, the Property also grows ponkan, golden oranges, and new summer oranges, so visitors can enjoy picking citrus fruits until early spring, around May.
