A spectacular 360-degree panorama that will impress the whole family!

A 5-minute ride on the single-person lift in Komuroyama Park will take you to the 321-meter-high summit of Mt. The 166.3-meter-long loop-shaped promenade, which takes advantage of the natural undulations and reflects the blue of the sky and the sea, is so pleasant that children and adults alike will want to shout with delight. The view of the surrounding volcanic terrain and plateau, as well as the Amagi Mountains and Mt.
The café's most popular drink is an original drink made in the image of geological formations, in reference to the fact that the Izu Peninsula is a geopark. There is also a glass-walled deck for the exclusive use of café visitors, which is also a great photo spot.
There is no nursing or diaper changing area at the top of the mountain, so it is recommended that you finish nursing at the foot of the mountain before going up to the summit.

Dinosaur monuments so large you can look up at them are scattered throughout the plaza and forest.
An interesting space where you can feel as if you have time-traveled back to ancient times
From the top of Mt. Komuro, take the "Jurassic Course" toward the foot of the mountain, and when you reach the halfway point, you will be surprised to see dinosaurs in your path. There are a total of 16 monuments in harmony with the lush green nature. Children were delighted by the impressive size of the dinosaurs, which ranged from Dimetrodon of the Paleozoic Era to Iguanodon of the Mesozoic Era and Mammoth of the Cenozoic Era. Children who were scared of dinosaurs at first will find themselves climbing on their tails, going through the round holes in their bellies, and smiling as they interact with the dinosaurs. The area is also equipped with large and small dinosaur-inspired playground equipment, so visitors can enjoy playing and exercising to their heart's content. This luxurious hot-spring hotel has four hot-spring water sources, and visitors can enjoy free-flowing hot-spring water all over the hotel. Hoshino Resorts KAI Ito's hot spring is a calcium-sodium chloride-sulfate hot spring that is highly moisturizing and does not easily cool down. The open-air rock bath with its waterfall-like waterfall and the cypress indoor bath will allow you to relax and enjoy the hot spring atmosphere.

Experience one of the world's top three oils, camellia oil making
The Izu area produces the largest amount of camellia oil in Japan. The camellia is also designated as Ito City's flowering tree.
A unique experience is actually extracting oil from the seeds of the Camellia japonica using an oil press. First, the seeds are peeled out of their shells and put into the oil press. The extraction process is quite hard work, so parents and children can enjoy a sense of accomplishment while cooperating with each other. The pressed camellia oil is put into a small bottle to take home as a souvenir.

KAI Local Flavors is a beautifully presented KAI Local Flavors menu that incorporates the bounty of the sea in Ito and the delicacies of the mountains nurtured by the warm nature of the area. The use of dishes decorated with camellia and other flowers and plants also adds to the splendor of the menu. Children's meals can be ordered, which are designed to be tasty and easy for children to eat.

Stretching exercises incorporating breathing techniques are perfect for mornings. The exercises are based on Hoshino Resorts KAI Ito's original "Zori Power Step," and both adults and children are welcome to join in. Enjoy the taste of hot spring town delicacies from nearby long-established dried fish and fish paste stores.
The star of the breakfast is the "horse mackerel nameko," which is freshly prepared every morning. It is a traditional Izu fisherman's dish made by pounding horse mackerel with miso, ginger, and green onions. It is recommended to enjoy it in three stages: first as is, then on top of rice, and finally in a chazuke style with broth.

A long-established bento box store can be seen just south of Hoshino Resorts KAI Ito on Hot Spring Bridge Street; when it was established in 1946, its "inari-zushi" (deep-fried tofu with sweetened sauce and white rice stuffed with sushi rice) quickly became very popular. It was also sold as an ekiben at Ito Station, where it has become a popular souvenir for many tourists on their trips.
In addition to the simple Inarizushi, there are many variations such as Makunouchi bento and Onigiri bento, so parents and children can choose the type they prefer. Many people also purchase Karaage (deep fried bean curd) with their sushi, which is addictively delicious with its strong seasoning and crunchy texture.

A seaside park with playground equipment for all ages
Play areas are separated by age, so small children can play safely.
The park is marked by large playground equipment that can be seen along the ocean from National Route 135. The park also has a swimming beach and a lawn area, where local families visit with packed lunches. The playground is divided into zones according to age: "Sukusuku Island" for children under 3, "Mini Seesaw" and "Pirate Ship" for toddlers aged 3 to 6, and "Undersea City Playground" for children aged 6 to 12.
The beach is safe for children making their debut playing in the sand because the waves are calm. During the period when the beach is open, the park's Property is equipped with hot-water showers (for a fee). Diaper-changing beds are available in the multipurpose restrooms.
A leisurely stroll along the 400-meter boardwalk along the beach is a refreshing change of pace from driving.
