Inside the museum is a world full of fantastical glimmering lights, including Tiffany lamps that flourished in the United States about 120 years ago. Walking trail with spectacular views of the spectacular cliffs
Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, a famous place for a thrilling walk in the air
From the entrance on the left side of the "New York Lamp Museum & Flower Garden," visitors can enjoy the tidal waves and forest bathing on the hiking trail that leads to the suspension bridge. There is also a "walking course" (40 minutes one way) that takes advantage of the topography, but we recommend the "forest course" (10 minutes one way), which is relatively easy to walk. The destination, Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, is 48 meters long and 23 meters high, and offers a spectacular view of the wildly splashing waves below. If the weather permits, Oshima Island can be clearly seen over the ocean. The walking path is not easy to navigate, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

The seasonal atmosphere is also expressed in Guest rooms through artworks such as the "Kareki-Anochin" (lantern through the trees) in the shape of flowers and grasses, and the "Kareki-Anochin" (flower calendar screen), in which a dyeing and weaving artist expresses the flower calendar. Enjoying hot springs in the in-room bath is also a nice touch. Japanese-style rooms with outdoor hot springs allow you to enjoy hot spring bathing in the cool, refreshing air in a private space and feel luxurious.
15:30 KAI Cultural Discovery Room Tsubaki
Experience making camellia oil, one of the three most popular oils in the world.
A unique experience that takes about 15 minutes. Camellia is also the flowering tree of Ito City and a great way to commemorate your visit to Ito!
The Izu area produces the largest amount of camellia oil in Japan. You can try your hand at pressing camellia oil using the seeds of Oshima's Camellia japonica, which is known for its particularly high quality. The seeds are cracked and the oil is pressed with all the force possible using a manual press. Once the slightly whitish oil is pressed, you can take it home in a small bottle as a souvenir.
Advance reservations required.
16:00 Public hot spring
Bathe in a hot spring with free-flowing hot-spring water
The temperature of the hot spring water is maintained by fine-tuning the amount of hot water from four sources, so you can enjoy free-flowing hot-spring water without heating or adding water.
The Public hot spring has an open-air rock bath with hot spring water cascading down like a waterfall, and a large cypress indoor bath. The water is a calcium-sodium chloride-sulfate hot spring that warms you to the core. Soaking in the footbath while sipping a sweet tea blend in the garden of the bathhouse is also a blissful experience.
19:30 Dining Area for Dinner
KAI Local Flavors: "Abalone and sea bream steamed in a bowl of rice with a bowl of rice cake", a taste of the three great tastes of Izu.
The Dining Area is a semi-private room in a relaxed Japanese style. The use of dishes and the presentation of dishes also subtly incorporate Izu's natural beauty, creating a breezy atmosphere.
Abalone, sea bream, and lobster are the three most delicious delicacies of Izu. Enjoy Ito's unique KAI Local Flavors cuisine with both the eyes and the palate.

Stretching exercises incorporating breathing techniques will be held in the refreshing morning garden. Once your body is relaxed, you will begin "Zori Power Step," Hoshino Resorts KAI Ito's original exercise. Walking with your arms outstretched and balancing on one leg at a time, you will feel the thrill of the exercise and your whole body will be warmed up.

08:00 Breakfast at Dining Area
Breakfast with special local dishes and local flavor that is deeply delicious
Ito is also a great place to encounter tastes typical of a hot spring resort, delivered from long-established dried fish and fish paste stores in the neighborhood.
The star of the breakfast is the "horse mackerel nameko," which is freshly prepared every morning. It is a dish of horse mackerel pounded with miso, ginger, and scallions, and has been a popular fisherman's dish along the Izu coast for centuries. It can be served on rice or in a chazuke style with dashi broth.

Ama-no-kko sushi, a signature dish with a tradition of more than 25 years
Ama-no-kko sushi" (2,420 yen), a standard menu item that embodies the restaurant's motto, "Eat the Sea of Izu.
It is said that ama divers who migrated from Toba in the old days were the origin of Izu's ama fishing. Since its establishment in Kawana as a store selling turban shells and other seafood caught by ama divers, this popular store has continued to offer fresh seafood. The main attraction is "Amaiko Sushi," a large bowl overflowing with local fish from Kawana Port. The sushi features 12 to 14 different kinds of seafood, including horse mackerel, squid, tuna, kampachi, sea bream, sea urchin, shrimp, and other seasonal fish, as well as homemade fish and seafood sauce. Other delicacies such as turban shell sashimi, jarred and grilled fish, and sea bream soup are also delicious with the aroma of the sea. Set meals and rice bowls are also available. The restaurant is also recommended for its location overlooking the sea.

13:30 Komuroyama Park
Flowers such as azaleas and camellias and spectacular views
The 35,000 m2 azalea garden looks like a bright red carpet when in bloom.
The area is famous for its flowers, which bloom in every season. Especially in spring, 100,000 azaleas of 40 varieties bloom, attracting many tourists from mid-April to early May. Cherry blossoms and camellias in winter are also worth seeing.
Komuroyama is a volcano belonging to the eastern Izu volcano group, a scoria hill formed by lava from an eruption about 15,000 years ago. It is one of the tourist attractions of the Izu Peninsula, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Geopark with valuable geological value. The summit is approached by a single-seater lift or a walking trail that takes about 20 minutes each way. The 321-meter-high summit offers a spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding volcanic terrain and plateau, as well as Mt.

14:00 Komuroyama Ridge Walk "MISORA"/ Café/321
An exhilarating boardwalk at the top of the mountain that seems to lead to the sea and sky
It takes about 5 minutes to the top of the mountain by a retro single-seater lift. The unobstructed panoramic view is the best souvenir of your trip!
A loop-shaped boardwalk, created in the spring of 2021, takes advantage of the natural undulations of the summit of Mt. It is named "MISORA" because it offers a view of the magnificent "sea (UMI)" and "sky (SORA)" at the same time. The 166.3-meter-long wooden boardwalk has become a very popular stopover spot because of its reputation for taking spectacular photos from any angle and in any direction.
A café under the boardwalk sells original drinks inspired by geological formations, in reference to the fact that the Izu Peninsula is a geopark. In addition, craft beer from Shuzenji in Izu is available as a perfect souvenir. There is also a glass-walled deck for the exclusive use of café patrons, which also makes a great photo spot.
