The area around Lake Kawaguchi, the knee of Mt. Fuji, is famous as a hot spring resort with many hotels and ryokans. Fuji, and also have specialty baths that can only be enjoyed in these hot springs. Why not soak in a hot spring while enjoying the spectacular view and relax from the fatigue of daily life?

One of the largest pure wooden baths in Japan and high quality hot spring

Fujiyama Hot Spring, located near the Fujiyoshida Interchange, boasts one of the largest pure wood baths in Japan, with a ceiling height of 12 meters and an area of over 100 tsubo. The "machiya-zukuri" style was reproduced in the motif of the "Kusakabe Residence," an important cultural property building in Hida Takayama, and features a beam construction using traditional methods without using nails.

The main pillar is made of a 60-cm-diameter zelkova tree said to be over 200 years old. The hot spring is a mineral-rich hot spring with a quality (magnesium, calcium, sodium bicarbonate, sulfate, and chloride hot springs) that is rare in Japan. It is also known as "hot water for beautiful skin" because it is rich in metasilicic acid, which is said to be a natural moisturizer.

Fuji, is said to be effective in promoting metabolism and controlling blood sugar levels. The vanadium content of Fujiyama Hot Spring is approximately twice that of commercially available mineral water (according to Fujiyama Hot Spring research).

In addition to the vanadium baths in the Public hot spring, the water is used as drinking water in all of the hotel's Properties, so it is readily available for consumption anywhere. The hot spring is also open for morning bathing, so you can stop by for a quick visit before going sightseeing.

Located near "Michi no Eki Narusawa" (Roadside Station), this hot spring is popular among locals. One of the reasons for its popularity is the wide variety of baths. The baths include a "scent bath," a "cave bath," a "steam bath," and a "Reiho spring water bath," so you will never get bored even if you stay for a long time.

Fuji in the "Reiho Outdoor hot spring" and the open-air "Panorama bath" offer exceptional views of Mt. Fuji from the "Takami-buro," an indoor bath where you can take a relaxing bath.

Taste the flavors of Yamanashi at two Dining Areas

Light meals and sweet snacks are also available for those who wish to spend a relaxing moment after taking a hot spring bath.
At the private Dining Area "O-Kariba," you can enjoy a sumptuous course of local hot pot dishes such as "Hoto-nabe" and "Sukiyaki of Koshu Beef. The service, in which an SL brings the food to your room, is also popular with families with children.

Public hot spring "Tomobokaku no Yu" and Outdoor hot spring "Hinode no Yu" are available for day-trip bathing from 10:00 to 15:00. Fuji can also be viewed from these outdoor hot springs. Fuji, which changes its appearance from season to season, can be enjoyed any time you visit this hot spring.

Benifuji no Yu" is conveniently located 3 minutes by car from Lake Yamanakako, the closest lake to Mt. It is a high-quality alkaline simple hot spring that is rare in the world, with a hydrogen ion concentration (pH) of 10.3, an extremely high alkalinity value, yet mild in terms of composition. Alkaline hot water is also known as "beauty water" or "hot water for beautiful skin" because of its effectiveness in removing dirt and dead skin cells from the skin.

The indoor Public hot spring has several types of baths, including full-body baths, jet baths, bubble baths, lying baths, tepid spring water, and cover baths. Fuji, and all bathtubs offer a panoramic view of the majestic Mt.

There are two types of outdoor hot springs: stone and cypress. Each has a different temperature, so you can enjoy them according to your preference and physical condition. Fuji, and in winter, you can enjoy the majestic view of Mt. Fuji as only it can be seen here, such as "Red Fuji," where the snow-capped Mt.
