When you travel, you want to spend extraordinary time.
Yatsugatake offers a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy nature as well as indoor programs to enjoy crafts.
Here are some attractive experiences for families, couples, and women to enjoy together.

Around a bonfire in a quiet forest

 Bonfire in the antelope forest
Bonfire in the antelope forest" is popular among families

This historic Property was established in 1938 as a campground for training Christian leaders. Experience programs titled "Time in the Forest" are offered throughout the year, with a variety of content including craft classes and outdoor experiences.
A popular outdoor experience is making a bonfire in the "Kamoshika Forest" near Seisen-Ryo. Visitors gather wood and branches in the forest to make a fire, and then blow into it or stir it up to make it bigger. Visitors experience the forest air, the flickering of the flames, and the smell of the wood being smoked. After the fire is stabilized, there is sometimes a fun time waiting for you.

Craft classes to make cute little animals and birds

The class for making small animals living in the forests of Yatsugatake, such as a dormouse and an owl, with yarn is popular among both children and adults. The fluffy yarn is comfortable to the touch, and the expressions of the animals can be completely different depending on the way the eyes, nose, and ears are attached, so there are many repeat visitors who make a new one every time they visit Seisen-Ryo. The Yamane can be completed in 15 to 30 minutes, so it is easy to join in as soon as the idea strikes you. This program is recommended when you have time to spare, when you want to relax, or on rainy days.
