The historic old temple where Soto Zen Buddhism called "Takano in west" formerly is outstanding. Even the Nagato city is learned about as an eminent flower viewing spot. Moon-viewing (I arrive and see.) river park

Sakuranamiki in a riverside which blooms over about 1 km

Fukagawa river which flows through the center of Nagato city in north and south (bran or my WA). About 1 km from Kangetsu-kyo Bridge in the mouth of a river to Midori-bashi is maintained as "moon-viewing river park" and is a place by the citizen's relaxation. About 100 cherry trees are planted in both sides on a river, and when full-blown time is met, it's also the popular flower viewing spot many people visit. There is Fureai Hiroba in a promenade in addition to a roller skates place and Property where three ounces of Lee court is popular with children and the waterside, and you can enjoy yourself with the family.
Recommended time is at the end of ordinary year March when contest of a cherry tree is judged as a rape blossom. The view with which a fascinating pink flower covers on the yellow carpet a rape blossom produces is must-see.

Sato of Omishima (OOMIJIMA) cherry tree

A wide slope is overwhelmed by the view dyed pink.

Omishima which is called another name sea Alps because a stone pillar, a strangely shaped rock and a strange shaped stone are located in the center of "the north Nagato coast quasi national park", and are seen, (OOMIJIMA). The prefecture which collected an owner of a cherry tree from Nagato city inside and outside of the country in 1989 and planted about 1000 Someiyoshino cherry trees is outstanding famous place for beautiful cherry blossom in "Sato of" Omishima cherry tree which is in the middle of the island. When a flower of a cherry tree will be in full bloom, the inclination of the hilly area facing Shizu Ura (SHIZUU RA) is dyed in aspect pink, and the powerful landscape spreads.

Oshizen park

The landscape of the home a children's song poet and Kaneko Misuzu loved and collaboration of a cherry tree

Omishima where the southernmost tip in an island is tied with Aomi big bridge with a mainland (OOMIJIMA). The "Oshizen (A maggot and, oh.), park" vanity in the hill which continues from a foot in a bridge can get a bird's-eye view of streets in a birthplace of a poet and Kaneko Misuzu and Nagato city Senzaki. It's the tourist spot Misuzu's fan visits through the year, but when spring comes, a Someiyoshino cherry tree and a double flowering cherry tree are in the famous place of flower viewing where about 100 cherry trees bloom. The cherry tree which blooms modestly with the port town in the background is the view I'd like to engrave in my memory sometime. Further, the light is on in a hand lamp in the park in a cherry-blossom season, and cherry blossoms by night can also be enjoyed.

Tawarayama rosebay garden

Rhododendron garden of the domestic maximum level which takes pride in its about 170 kinds and 30,000

It's the floral famous place where grand prix has been won in 2009 in the "grand prix built with" floral tourist spot for which the area where floral landmark and cityscape of Japanese tourist association (present Japanese sightseeing promotion society) sponsorship are maintained is commended. About 170 kinds and 30,000 of rhododendron are clumped in about 5 ha of site, and red white yellow pink rhododendron can be enjoyed at best time time of the middle of April. Early, or, it's also this charm that time of the best time is long because there is a kind of a lot to RA late bloomer.
If I'd like to take a picture of multicolored contest, it's recommended to take a picture so that I may look up at hills from the way to the esplanade. Home-grown vegetables and artifact are sold in the site, so a gift can also be bought.

Sugamuta (SUGEMUTA) park

The exquisite landscape beauty blue in the sky and a white propeller interweave with red Azalea

The spot we assume that a superb view of Azalea is seen at the water park where a reservoir for agriculture was maintained, and which becomes the topic of conversation in recent years. It's possible to go up the hill where paulownia striped Azalea as much as about 18,000 was planted on the stairs to the top, and you can look down upon the state by which a red white pink flower crowds and blooms. The Azalea which was adjusted as it was the same color each line one is beauty just like the carpet. A fringe has "Hioki (putting) wind power plant" where it takes pride in the scale of the western Japan maximum level, and it's possible to take photograph of the refreshing composition with the propeller for generation of electricity in the background.
