Despite their location in a residential area far from the center of Hirosaki City, many people visit these restaurants for their tonkatsu and fries. The secret of the delicious taste is the Aomori brand pork "Yamazaki Pork" used for tonkatsu. The fat has a firm sweetness but is not greasy, and the combination of the crispy batter and juicy meat is exquisite. The tonkatsu sauce is an original mixture of syrup and ketchup. In addition to the loin katsu and filet set menus, the "mixed fry set meal," which includes filet, fried shrimp, and fried squid, is also popular.

The owner is a former French chef. He worked for a famous hotel and a catering company for the Imperial Household Agency, and was in charge of cooking for garden parties. His experience as a French chef has been concentrated in this dish of tonkatsu and colorful vegetables beautifully presented in a simple dish of Tsugaru Kanayama-yaki pottery. The restaurant also offers a variety of small desserts and rice with garlic rice for an additional 150 yen, which explains why the restaurant has become so popular and loved by men and women of all ages in the two full years since its opening.

We recommend the "Aburi Tendon", which can be found only here, even if you search all over Japan. As the name suggests, the tempura is grilled over a gas burner, which gives the tempura batter a crispy texture, and the aroma of the sauce fills the air, just like grilled chicken or broiled eel.
You can have the tempura "grilled" for free even while you are eating it, which is recommended when you want to change the texture and flavor. The sauce is not too sweet and has a crispy taste so that it does not become too strong even if you grill it. You can add as much sauce as you like, or sprinkle shichimi (seven spices) on top to create your own favorite flavor.

The standard tempura bowl is a hearty bowl of rice topped with two prawns and four kinds of vegetable tempura. For women, a mini size with less rice is also available. Tendon bowls made with seasonal seafood such as scallops, milt, sea urchin, firefly squid, and lingcod, as well as roast beef bowls made with Japanese beef, are also very popular among regular customers.
The owner of the restaurant, who has a long history of working at a Japanese restaurant in Tokyo, offers tendon for lunch and Japanese cuisine courses in the evening by reservation only. Located in downtown Aomori City, this Restaurant offers healthy Western cuisine with plenty of vegetables. The very popular "Today's Set Menu" includes A hamburger steak, B doria (omelette rice depending on the day), and C pasta, and comes with a drink, salad, and dessert for the very satisfying price of around 1,000 yen. The hamburger steak is served with either tomato sauce or domiglace sauce, which changes daily, and is accompanied by about 10 different seasonal vegetables. The colorful array of vegetables on the plate is a sight to behold. The unique pleasure of this restaurant is to taste the texture of each vegetable while checking the name of the vegetable.

The menu itself is not vegetarian, but rather features standard Western-style dishes, so the secret of the restaurant's popularity is that customers can enjoy vegetables in their regular meals without being overawed. The restaurant also offers a variety of seasonal dishes such as bamboo shoot hamburger steak in spring, tomato curry in summer, mushroom and pumpkin carbonara in fall, and spinach doria in winter.
