3A hot spring with a spectacular view, Ryu Palace Honkan
Superb Outdoor hot spring with a view of Lake Ashi and Mt.
Located on the shores of Lake Ashi, this one-day hot spring features an impressive building modeled after the Byodoin Phoenix Hall in Uji, Kyoto. After its construction in the early Showa period, it was moved to its current location and is designated as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan due to its magnificent appearance and history. It boasts an outstanding location with a view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji below. You can enjoy the spectacular view unique to Hakone while soaking in the hot spring.
The bathtub is filled with Takogawa hot spring, which was added to Hakone's hot springs in 1993. It is ideal for those who are tired from leisure activities, as it warms the body from the core, keeps the water from cooling down, and is effective for muscle, nerve, and joint pain.
Enjoy the spectacular seasonal views from the indoor baths as well.
Lake Ashi changes its atmosphere from season to season. Especially in late October and early November, when the lakeside and the outer rim of Hakone are dyed in autumn, you can enjoy a picturesque scene from the indoor baths as well as the outdoor baths. Rest areas are available for both men and women, and for women only. There are also a variety of properties other than hot springs, such as a spa that can be used casually for short courses, and a Dining Area where the chef serves up his culinary creations. For those who want to spend time without worrying about their surroundings, we recommend the four types of private rooms available for rent. The "Gallery Ryu Palace" on the second floor holds various special exhibitions, and there are many ways to enjoy yourself after taking a bath, such as viewing famous architectural structures with a long history.

Located at the foot of Mt. Yusaka, the hotel has five private hot springs that gush out approximately 390,000 liters of hot spring water per day. The mildly alkaline simple hot spring water has many beneficial effects such as muscle pain, joint pain, and sensitivity to cold, and is soft to the touch, making it popular among all ages.
Public hot springs for men and women include an indoor bath, six types of Outdoor hot springs, and a sauna. Visitors can enjoy a variety of baths, including rock baths rich in natural beauty, jet baths where the water pressure and air bubbles are good for circulation, bubble baths, lying baths, and a hitting bath.
The "early morning bathing" from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. is also popular, allowing you to enjoy hot springs in the fresh air at a discounted rate.
Magnificent views of Mt. Yusaka from the rock baths
Among the Outdoor hot springs, the rock bath on the hillside offers a great view, and a pleasant breeze blows in from the mountains. The baths are also famous for their moon-viewing views, and are always crowded with visitors until the baths close.
The rest areas are as varied as the hot spring itself, including the Yusaka Teahouse with its outstanding view, the White Teahouse with its bright light, and the Black Teahouse with its contrasting dimmed lighting. The manga corner with reclining chairs is also popular, making it hard to decide where to rest. 5Sukuokura Hot Spring Kanrei
Private and relaxing hidden hot spring in a bamboo grove
Located in a quiet area about a 10-minute walk from Miyanoshita Station, the hotel is nestled in the forest, giving it the appearance of a hideaway. Kanrei Clinic, a Western-style hospital built at the end of the Taisho era (1912-1926), was renovated. The famous hot spring water of Sokokura Onsen, which was also used for hot spring medical treatment, can be enjoyed for one-hour private use.
There is one outdoor hot spring in the bathroom, which is freshly gushing hot spring water except for the water that is added to lower the temperature of the spring, which is nearly 70 degrees Celsius. A lush bamboo grove looms before you, and the murmuring of the nearby Jakotsu River is a pleasant sight for both eyes and ears. The location is pleasant to the eyes and ears, and the hot spring baths are exceptional.
Elegant tea time in a room fragrant with history
Kanrei" was renovated and reopened in 2019. The building has been repainted and the bathhouse renovated, but the architectural style remains intact, and the reception desk, waiting room, small window for medicine delivery, and other areas show the atmosphere of those days.
After taking a bath, take a break in the tea room. After taking a rest in the tea room, you can enjoy a luxurious moment with coffee, tea, juice, beer, etc. in a classical space that still retains the atmosphere of the Taisho era. Although it is a well-known hot spring for those in the know, it is very popular among hot spring connoisseurs and has many repeat customers, so early reservations are recommended.

It is a popular Daytrip Destinations Property with the source of "Bijin-no-yu," or "hot water of beauty," which is reputed to moisturize the skin after bathing. In addition to the indoor baths, the spacious bathhouse has a variety of outdoor hot springs, including a "rock bath," a "gazebo bath," and a "Shigaraki bath," allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of bathing experiences.
