Yachimun" is an Okinawan word for pottery, a traditional craft with a history of over 400 years, and is used in daily life for daily necessities and shisa. Although the thick, chunky shapes and large painted patterns give the impression of being very large, the world of Yachimun is very diverse and deep, with delicate shapes and colorful patterns.
