I was so impressed by the way she talked with Guest/customers about tourism with a smile that I selected her to be a Local Guide. He is very excited to make Ito's tourism more exciting.

Hoshino Resorts KAI Anjin: The hotel is named after Anjin Miura, an English navigator who became a samurai, and has an artistic space derived from the sea and boat travel. Guest rooms, all with ocean views, and a spectacular outdoor hot spring on the top floor, promise relaxing time by the sea from sunrise to moonlit road.

What do you recommend in the Ito area (places, experiences, food)?: I often take my friends to Omuroyama when they come over. You can see a 360-degree view of Ito, and in good weather you can even see Mt. The archery range in the hollow in the middle of the mountain is also interesting because you can't do it anywhere else.

Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.: Ito is famous for its ocean. Orange Beach is famous and crowded in summer, but I recommend Usami Beach, one stop away, where I went surfing in August. I went surfing there in August, and the beach was clean, with few people and beautiful sand.

Where did you travel to last year and with whom?: I was still a student, but I remember staying at Hoshino Resorts KAI Izumo after I was hired at the company. I was impressed by the KAI Cultural Discovery "Kagura". It inspired me to want to convey the charm and traditional culture of the region once I join the company.

What do you do on your days off?: I love discovering small cafes and pubs that are frequented by locals. I have become friends with the store owners and some of them are becoming my regulars.

Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?: I always bring a local guidebook with me. I am the type of person who reads a lot and makes detailed plans before going on a trip. I also keep pamphlets of the places I stop by on my travels, and when I put them on my bookshelf at home, I am happy to see them lined up with my memories.
