What spots do you recommend in the Kumamoto area?: Ueno Uradori Street. The fashionable street of fashion and food is a street that overwhelmingly demonstrates Kumamoto's charms. Traveling becomes magic when you use your sense of smell like a cat and step into vintage clothing stores and restaurants at will.

Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.: I happened to find "Japan's Last Avenging Reparation Tower" while taking a bike ride. It is located in Yayoi-cho, Chuo-ku.
A wife and her child prayed to Kannon-sama for her husband's revenge to be fulfilled, and 10 years later, the wife successfully achieved her true love's revenge and built a tower of gratitude called "Houzaetou.
It is interesting that this is the last revenge in Japan, in Kumamoto, a place where people like new things. The site of the avenging action, which took place not in the Edo period but in the 4th year of Meiji (1871) after the Meiji Restoration, is located in Ishinuki, Tamana City. She avenged her husband who was killed in Edo in Kumamoto.

What is your most memorable trip?: It was the summer of my first year in high school when I traveled with my classmates from the port of Osaka to Kyushu by ferry.
We landed at Shibushi Port in Kagoshima and went to Aoshima Island in Miyazaki. We did a lot of stupid things together as guys, and none of the girls we met on the boat trip approached us. I have deep memories of how we were all so different even in the places we went: some of us suddenly started using amateur radio, some of us swam, some of us fell asleep with a fever, and so on. It was a very wonderful trip that the world was not united.

What do you do on your days off?: Coffee -> saruki ("walk" in Kumamoto dialect) -> photo -> coffee -> saruki -> photo, sometimes movie -> coffee -> saruki...

Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?: iPhone voice memo function.
Birdsong, the sound of trams and tracks, the sound of waves, and any sound that comes to mind when I hear it, I record it. Sometimes I take videos while traveling, but more often I record only sounds or photos.
