Delicious Cheesecake Shop "Ohkura"

A takeout-only handmade cheesecake shop. It is a renowned store that has been loved by the locals for about 20 years.
The main offerings are two types of baked cheesecake: "Tarte au Fromage" and "Chocolat au Fromage." They use a uniquely blended mix of Swiss, French, and Danish cheeses, paired with a crunchy, cookie-like tart crust. To bring out the natural flavor of the cheese, they add a special yogurt and sour cream for a touch of acidity, resulting in a product with a distinctively refreshing flavor.

In the display case, besides whole cheesecakes, there are about five types of cheesecake available by the slice. Other items like gateau chocolat and tarts are also available. The cheesecakes are packed with the owner's dedication to "providing something better and richer, even if it looks the same." Whether you buy a whole cake or a few different slices to compare, these are guaranteed to be appreciated as highly satisfying gifts.

Patisserie Stern

A patisserie known for its highly original cakes and adorable baked goods.
The most popular item for gifts and souvenirs is the "Shinshu Miso Monalantin." It consists of Shinshu-grown sesame and walnuts mixed with two-year-aged Shinshu miso, hardened with caramel, and packed into a monaka wafer shell. The design on the monaka is a colorful Matsumoto-temari style created using a food printer. The sweetness of the caramel, the flavor of the walnuts and sesame, and the savory aroma of the miso combine for an addictive taste.

Delicious local sweets

With a concept of creating sweets that prioritize local production for local consumption and additive-free ingredients, the shop's display case is filled with cakes made using local seasonal fruits and specialties, such as watermelons from the Hata district of Matsumoto and lemons from Azumino.
There is also a wide variety of baked goods. Unique designs like original photo plate cakes and printed cakes are also well-received.

Matsumoto Muffin

The many simple baked goods lined up in the shop directly showcase the flavors of their ingredients, so we are extra particular about what we use. We carefully select ingredients that prioritize safety, not only in terms of their origin and quality, but also by ensuring no preservatives are used during the raising or cultivation processes.
Our signature muffins are always available in 7 to 8 varieties, ranging from plain to those featuring seasonal fruits like Azumino-grown blueberries and low-pesticide Azumino-grown apples. The mildly sweet dough is accented by sweet and sour fruits or chocolate, creating a deliciousness that will make you smile with every bite.

A wide variety of sweets perfect for souvenirs

In addition to muffins, our pound cakes, madeleines, and cookies are also popular. The cookies, in particular, come in such cute shapes and patterns that you'll want to pick them all up, making it hard to choose just one. Among them, the "Matsumoto Castle Cookie," made by combining cocoa dough and butter dough to resemble Matsumoto Castle, is perfect as a souvenir from Matsumoto.
We also have a selection of lovely gift bags and boxes, making them recommended for small gifts as well.
