From fresh seafood to famous local delicacies, 4 famous lunches in Hachinohe
Hachinohe, the eastern gateway to Aomori Prefecture, is one of the prefecture's best gourmet towns. Hachinohe, the eastern gateway to Aomori Prefecture, is a gourmet town in the prefecture, and is home to a variety of high-end lunch spots, including restaurants where you can taste freshly caught seafood as only a port town can, as well as stylish restaurants that focus on local ingredients. Here are four of our favorites from the Japanese, Western, and ethnic categories.
1Eight Food Center
This food market offers a wide variety of Hachinohe and Aomori Prefecture's famous gourmet specialties. Centered around the fresh fish market, there is also a collection of Restaurants where you can taste fresh local fish.
Among them, "Ichibatei" is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of delicious fish dishes including Kaisen-don, sushi, sashimi, fried fish, and more. Ichibatei Kaisen-don" is recommended for lunch, a gorgeous bowl of rice topped with more than 10 different kinds of fish, including tuna, squid, sea urchin, and homemade shime saba (mackerel). You can choose between white rice or sushi rice, and the set's soup can be replaced with Ichigo-ni-ni, a tidal soup with sea urchin and abalone as ingredients (for an additional charge).
Another reason for the restaurant's popularity is that it becomes an all-you-can-eat sushi and shabu-shabu restaurant after 5:00 p.m.
Seafood Restaurant also offers a wide variety of seafood.
Because of its proximity to Hachinohe Port and the availability of freshly landed quality seafood, the main tenants in the building are fresh fish stores. Stores selling seafood are lined endlessly along the 170-meter-long main street.
In addition to Ichiba-tei, there are a total of 10 restaurants in three corners, including Kuriya Stadium, which has conveyor-belt sushi and seafood bowl restaurants; Aji Yokocho, which has Hachinohe ramen and local gourmet restaurants; and Shichirinmura, where fish and meat purchased on the premises can be grilled over charcoal.
In addition, there are stores selling processed marine products, prefectural vegetables, fruits, meat, Aomori's famous sweets including Nanbu senbei (rice crackers), and local sake, making this a major gourmet park in Hachinohe.

2Italian Cuisine Casa del cibo
This Italian restaurant offers Hachinohe ingredients arranged into refined items that are both tasty and well-prepared for your enjoyment. Three types of lunch courses are available. Among the choices, the menu featuring seafood is the most popular.
For example, in the spring, the menu includes marinated cherry salmon, a salad with spiny crab, pasta with whelk, and more. In summer, Hachinohe's specialty squid and sea urchin are available, and in fall, mackerel, salmon, sea eel, and a wide variety of other seafood dishes are available.
Hachinohe ingredients attract even the best chefs.
The chef trained at a number of famous Restaurants in Tokyo and opened this restaurant in 2011. In recent years, he has also worked as a chef on the luxury TRAIN SUITE Shikishima train.
Even for a chef who has honed his skills in such prestigious places, Hachinohe's seasonal ingredients such as fresh local fish and lush organic vegetables are very appealing. He comes up with his menus through direct contact with the producers and ingredients, and sometimes encounters ingredients unique to Hachinohe that are new to him.
The name of the restaurant, which means "house of food" in Italian, expresses our wish that our customers will enjoy the richness of local ingredients in our dishes.

3Noufu Kitchen Yui
This casual French restaurant is run by a chef from a farming family in Nanbu-cho, a town next to Hachinohe City. The concept of the restaurant is "local production for local consumption," and dishes are filled with vegetables grown by farmers in the suburbs.
The "Bistro Lunch Set" is a popular menu item that includes "assorted seasonal vegetables" as an appetizer, and allows you to enjoy more than 10 kinds of vegetables, with fresh cucumbers for their texture, grilled zucchini for its sweetness, and marinated bell peppers for its flavor. The restaurant's naming is based on the importance of the bond between the customers and the restaurant.
The reason for the delicious taste is vegetables and fruits that you can see the face of.
The restaurant's name comes from the concept of "yui," which is an agricultural concept that emphasizes the importance of bonds. It is only through the strong ties between the chef and the producers that one can enjoy delicious vegetables.
One of the producers' friends is the chef's brother, who also delivers vegetables and fruits to the restaurant, and the ingredients are featured on the menu as "my brother's grape squash.
Other soft drinks include "Mr. Mizuno's Carrot and Orange Juice" and "Mr. Yukki's Apple Juice" made with organic carrots, and are half price during lunch time.

4ROB PHOTONS
This restaurant specializes in pho, a typical Vietnamese noodle. Pho is a noodle dish made of flat rice flour and topped with meat, seafood, and other ingredients.
The restaurant's most popular dish is the "beef pho" topped with a generous portion of boiled beef belly. The juicy flavor of the meat is a perfect match for the light noodle soup, which is made from beef bones and is a direct descendant of the Vietnamese chef.
The dish can be enjoyed with seasonings such as sriracha sauce, which contains garlic, vinegar, and chili peppers, or hoisin sauce, a sweet miso paste-like sauce, to give it a more Vietnamese flavor.
We also recommend the "Bain Mee," a Vietnamese-style sandwich.
Along with pho, the restaurant's specialty is "bahn mi," a sandwich made with French bread. The "Chicken Baing Mee" and "Egg Baing Mee" sandwiched with steamed chicken and red and white mustard are also available, and the crisp flavor of the mustard is sure to satisfy your appetite.
The interior is designed in a monotone café-bar style. The interior is designed in a monotone café-bar style, with a counter-style open kitchen at the center, as well as tables with comfortable seating and counter seats.
The atmosphere on the second floor is completely different, with a fantastic interior. Numerous lampshades in red, yellow, green, and blue, each with a lantern motif, colorfully decorate the ceiling.
