Glass Forest in FURANO (GURASUFORESUTOINFURANO)

"Glass Forest in FURANO" is the glass atelier in Furano-shi Rokugou (ROKUGOU). A masterpiece, "tie, glass". Ikeda wine castle

Ikeda-cho is the producing center of "Tokachi wine" where even the world is estimated. "Ikeda wine castle" of a symbol was a wine manufacturing factory formerly. One built with wine from Ikeda-cho starts in (in 1963) June, 1963. It was planned built with wine by municipality to rearrange Tokachi-oki earthquake in 1952 (1952) and the agriculture which received a heavy blow by continuous damage from cold weather for 2 years, and was a Japan's first try. That a town mayor in at that time found the wild grapevine which grows naturally for a trigger. The brew articles species "Kiyomi" and also "Kiyoshi Mai" "riches of the soil" are developed from wild grapevine. It's the representative name of the Tokachi wine in now.

Nippon Beet Sugar Mfg. Co., Ltd. beat Shiryokan Museum

The beat which can't chip in farming in Hokkaido (sugar beet) is the crop which becomes a raw material of sugar. In 1989, "beat Shiryokan Museum" was built in the site in an old Obihiro sugarhouse of Nippon Beet Sugar Mfg. Co., Ltd. with the theme of the history of cultivation of a beat and beet sugar trade.
There is a model in the Obihiro sugarhouse when starting the business, in the first exhibition hall on the 1st floor. I scaled down in 1/70 and was restored from the original drawing face kept in American Dyer company. Something the impression is also 3 sides of stained glass of a wellhole. The farmer's married couple who leaves for the windbreak and the left from which a field in Tokachi has been protected in Obihiro sugarhouse and the right in the center with agricultural machinery can meet the landscape which is drawn and seems to be Tokachi.

Beet sugar trade in Obihiro is explaining the developing condition by material and a panel in the third exhibition hall. The tour guide who chooses a wonderful one as a director.
