The red roof of the café, which stands alone in the rice paddies overlooking the Tokachi Mountain Range, is a landmark. The warmth of wood fills the interior of the renovated farm barn. Outside the window, you will be immersed in a luxurious atmosphere with a beautiful view of ears of rice dyed green and gold according to the season.
The owner, who honed his skills at an Italian restaurant in Sapporo, bakes natural yeast pizza in a stone oven. The fluffy, chewy texture and savory aroma are irresistible. Fresh local vegetables are used abundantly in appetizers and salads, allowing you to fully enjoy the bounty of the earth.

The park is affectionately called "Namako-yama" by the locals. From the top of the small hill, you can see the Sorachigawa River, the city of Furano, the rural landscape stretching beyond, and the Tokachi Mountain range. In spring, it is a popular flower spot with 3,000 Ezo-yamazakura cherry trees and 500 azaleas in full bloom. In summer, children can be seen observing wildflowers and collecting insects. In the fall, the park is filled with vividly colored autumn leaves, creating many photo-worthy scenes.

Hoshino Resorts Tomamu has prepared an outdoor program for children. Equipped with binoculars and other exploration equipment, children will explore the vast Tomamu forest, which is more than 213 times the size of Tokyo Dome, with a guide to find animals that live in Hokkaido.
Each participating child will receive a copy of the "Tomamu Ezo Creatures Guidebook. They will observe the ecology of the creatures they discover during the expedition, collect the traces left behind and record the results, and write down their knowledge of the forest and the creatures taught by the accompanying guide, as well as their feelings and precious memories from the expedition, to complete a one-of-a-kind illustrated book.
The process takes about one and a half hours. If you are lucky, you may come across animals such as Ezo sika deer, Ezo snow hare, and foxes. You may also see animal tracks, feces, bear claw marks, and other traces.
