Enjoy a spectacular day trip to Kawaji Onsen and Yunishigawa Onsen, the backwaters of Nikko
Kawaji Onsen and Yunishigawa Onsen areas are popular hot spring resorts. There are numerous Daytrip Destinations, and the area is dotted with spots perfect for soaking in hot springs and admiring the changing of the seasons between sightseeing excursions.
Here are some of the Daytrip Destinations where you can enjoy the spectacular views.
1Yukemuri no Sato Kashiwaya
Hot spring ryokan "Yukemuri-no-Sato Kashiwaya" in Kawaji Onsen has a day-trip hot spring spot known for its spectacular outdoor hot spring.
Built at the confluence of the Kinugawa and Oga Rivers, the Outdoor hot spring is popular for its sense of unity with the river and openness with a spectacular view of the valley. There are also bathtubs with lukewarm spring water, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while taking a long soak.
The "Noiwa Railway" tracks are just out of sight, and watching the trains pass by is also a pleasure. However, since the one-day bathing is only available for two hours from 14:00 to 16:00, we recommend that you make it a part of your schedule.
The view from the footbath is also popular.
A garden named "Forest of the Four Seasons" stretches across the grounds, and there is a viewing platform and a free footbath along the river. The view of the valley from the footbath is spectacular, and the rest area offers a magnificent view of nature.
Anyone can stop by the footbath, but it is best to visit before the lights go out at 9:00 p.m.
