2NIFREL
A museum with a new sensation based on the concept of "touching the senses
Produced by Kaiyukan, one of the world's largest aquariums located in Osaka City, this hands-on museum is not bound by the boundaries of an aquarium, zoo, or museum. Unlike conventional aquarium and zoo exhibits that reproduce the environment based on the habitat area, this museum exhibits a wide variety of creatures, from small fish to large animals such as white tigers and mini hippopotamuses, by dividing the creatures' personalities into eight themes, including "color," "skill," "water beads," and "movement. A major feature of the aquarium is that visitors can view the tanks from 360 degrees and also see the creatures from new perspectives that they would not normally see.
A popular exhibition zone where visitors can experience the free movement of living creatures
The most popular feature of the aquarium is that the creatures can be seen in a space without fences or cages. Living freely in a space with no fences or cages. The most popular exhibit is the "Touch the Movement" corner, where creatures live freely in a space without fences or cages. Visitors can feel the breath of living creatures up close and personal, such as the ring-tailed lemurs that leap dynamically around the floor, as well as the lesser otters, Kedzume turtles, and Indian peacocks that walk around. You can also see Cape penguins swimming agilely in the pool and a Great Horned Owl tucked quietly behind a restroom sign, and you cannot take your eyes off the free and unpredictable movements of these animals.

6TeamLab Botanical Garden Osaka
An exhibition that transforms the botanical garden into a light art space
The Osaka Municipal Nagai Botanical Garden covers an area of 240,000 square meters and is home to approximately 1,200 different kinds of plants. The "Osaka Municipal Nagai Botanical Garden" has a nighttime exhibition held all year round, The "TeamLab Botanical Garden Osaka" is a nighttime open-air museum by the art group "TeamLab. The museum is a project that "allows nature to become art in its natural state" without destroying it through the use of immaterial digital technology. Sculptures of Dissipating Birds in the Wind is a work that depicts in real time the flow of energy created by birds in flight.
A place that is a botanical garden during the day becomes an art space at night.
The art space changes with the seasons of the Botanical Garden, so the impression one gets from the work changes depending on the time of year one visits. The art space transforms interactively under the influence of the wind and rain in nature, as well as the behavior of birds and people. The latest digital technology and the botanical garden's natural environment create artworks. If you listen carefully in the darkness, you will hear the sound of wind and birds, and if you inhale deeply, you will smell the fragrance of flowers and grass, and feel the presence of nature close by. Some works of art change as people pass by or touch them, allowing visitors to fully utilize all five senses as they interact with the artwork.

7Darakutei
Yose hut where you can casually enjoy Kamigata Rakugo, a traditional form of Japanese comic storytelling
In a corner of Shinsekai is a yose hut where visitors can enjoy Kamigata rakugo (traditional Japanese comic storytelling). It was established in 2008 by the late Zakoba Katsura in the hope that people would enjoy rakugo in a casual manner. Kamigata Rakugo, which originated in Osaka and Kyoto and uses the dialect of the Kinki region, is characterized by a lively stage performance in which a shamisen or drum, called a "hamemono," is played and a small desk in front of the performer is tapped to attract the attention of people on the street. Here, visitors can enjoy a variety of performances centering on the Kamigata rakugo storytelling troupe of KATSURA Beicho.
Dorakutei Noon Seating, which can be seen without reservations, is perfect for a break from sightseeing in Osaka.
The cozy hut with a seating capacity of about 100 people allows visitors to get up close and personal with the performers and feel their eyes, eyebrows, and even their breathing.
For tourists, we recommend the "Dorakutei Lunch Seating," which does not require advance tickets or reservations, and allows you to drop in on a whim depending on your mood that day. From the 21st onward, a variety of performances, including not only rakugo but also nankyoku (comic monologue) and kodan (storytelling), are held day and night. Senshu (Sakai/Sennan) Area
9Night view of Sakai and Senboku Waterfront Industrial Area
Fantastic view of factory chimneys and pipes
The waterfront area from Sakai City to Takaishi City, where factories of petroleum and chemical manufacturers are spread out, is a popular spot for night views of factories. Driving along the Hanshin Expressway No. 4 Bayshore Route from Kansai International Airport to Osaka City, the factory zone appears on your left after passing the Izumiotsu Parking Area. Among them, the area near "Chikko Hamadera Nishi-machi" at the tip of the wharf is a spectacular spot where you can see a group of spires across the sea. Multiple factories stand in a row on either side, and the steam trailing from the spires and the light reflected off the surface of the sea create a fantastic view.
Up close and personal with a night view of the city that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie
Located in an industrial area Chikko Shinmachi Hamahakobe Park, located in an industrial area, is another spot where you can enjoy a close-up night view of factories. The inorganic night view of factories can be admired through the gaps between the palm trees that grow in the park, and the towering plants are a powerful sight when viewed from below as if stirred up. The view is narrow, but the distinctive shape of the oil refinery plant emerges in the dark of night.
While a car is basically required to visit the viewing spots, a recommended spot that can be reached without a car is the sidewalk along the waterway in Hamadera Park. It is a short walk from Hamadera Koen Station and offers a rare view of the Hanshin Expressway Bayshore Route crossing in front of the plant.
