"Deep-fried Gurukun" for 900 yen and "Rafute" for 900 yen.

An izakaya where you can taste dishes made with plenty of ingredients from Okinawa Prefecture. You can enjoy Okinawan cuisine and exquisite dishes that pair perfectly with alcohol. Among them, the "deep-fried gurukun (double-lined fusilier)" with its addictive, springy texture, and the "rafute" (braised pork belly), which is simmered for a long time until tender and thoroughly infused with flavor, are particularly popular. Many of the dishes are voluminous, and it's great that they can be shared. There is also a wide variety of drinks, and you can compare different types of awamori, as well as plum wines and fruit wines made within the prefecture. There is also a full selection of drinks other than awamori, such as cocktails and juices.

Savor awamori from the Onna Distillery at a restaurant loved by locals.

A prime seat where you can enjoy your meal with a view of the blue sea.

Having served Okinawan home-style cooking for over 20 years since opening, this restaurant is loved not only by tourists but also by locals. To get into the Okinawan spirit, try the awamori from a local distillery, which regular customers often order. We especially recommend "Manza," which is made at a distillery in Onna Village, the same village where the restaurant is located. It is easy to drink when mixed with water or soda. It pairs perfectly with dishes like "suchika" (salted pork) or "tofuyo" (island tofu fermented in awamori). There are also awamori cocktails made by mixing awamori with tropical juice.

A restaurant where you can enjoy shabu-shabu made with brand-name pork from Okinawa Prefecture. You can choose your favorite pork from a total of five varieties: "Agu pork," "Yanbaru island pork," "Beni pork," "Choju pork," and "Ryubi pork." While the flavorful Agu pork is the most popular, the leaner Beni pork and Choju pork are well-received by those who prefer a lighter taste. The meat, which you dip into a special broth made by blending bonito stock with the braising liquid from rafute (braised pork belly), is exquisite. The vegetable set includes green papaya, which is unique to Okinawa, allowing you to enjoy its distinct, crunchy texture.

For the pork, you can enjoy a different flavor by adding shikuwasa pepper to the soup broth to your liking. Since you can choose and compare five different types of pork, I think it will be fun no matter how many times you visit.

The local sashimi selection may include tuna and parrotfish caught in Okinawan waters, as well as akamachi, one of the three major high-grade fish. We also recommend it to alcohol enthusiasts, as we offer awamori aged for over 10 years and habu sake. The habu sake is served by pouring it from the bottle into a shot glass right at your table. Seeing the habu sake bottle up close is quite an impressive sight.

The restaurant's signature event is the free sanshin live performance held daily at 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM. The live show is a blast, with guests clapping along, joining in with shouts, and performing the "Kachashi" dance, where you raise both hands and wave them from side to side to the music. If you reserve a seat in advance, you can enjoy the live performance right in front of you. In the open-air terrace seating, you can enjoy just the music through speakers. The terrace seating is swimsuit-friendly, making it perfect for visiting after playing at the nearby beach. For lunch, we serve Okinawan cuisine set meals.

Enjoy Agu pork and island vegetables in a healthy way with a tagine pot.

"Yanbaru Island Agu Pork and Seasonal Island Vegetables"
"Yanbaru Island Pork Agu and Seasonal Island Vegetables"

A specialty restaurant serving tagine pots made with "Yanbaru Island Pork Agu." You can enjoy steamed Agu pork and island vegetables in colorful, conical tagine pots. Because the food is cooked only with the moisture released from the ingredients and allows you to eat plenty of vegetables, the tagine pot is perfect for health-conscious diners. "Yanbaru Island Pork Agu" is known for having no gamey odor and a melt-in-your-mouth sweetness. You can also taste the natural flavors of island vegetables like bitter melon, luffa, and purple sweet potato. The seasoning is kept simple, with diners finishing the dish with Aguni salt, black pepper, yuzu kosho, or ponzu sauce.

The lard risotto served at the end, infused with the flavors of meat and vegetable broth, is also a must-try dish.

The interior has a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of tropical resort vibes.

After the steaming, a lard risotto made by adding lard, garlic soy sauce, and cheese to the broth—which is packed with the concentrated umami of the meat and vegetables—is also a popular dish. It is said that many regulars visit specifically for this exquisite risotto. The tagine steaming course meal includes the finishing lard risotto or oil-style Okinawa soba, a trio of small side dishes, and dessert. Be sure to try the yushi tofu, which you make yourself from soy milk; it is a hit, especially with families. Another great point is the wide variety of awamori and homemade plum wine made with awamori available to drink.
