Right in front of Nagomi no To (Pagoda of Peace and Sound), an arch of bougainvillea welcomes you to this Dining Area. In addition to the famous Taketomi Soba and various set menus, there are also a wide variety of a la carte menus that go well with alcoholic drinks. The recommended "Fried prawns from TaketomiIsland" is served from 300 yen per shrimp, the size of which varies depending on the season, as it is purchased directly from a shrimp farm in TaketomiIsland. The plump and firm prawns are packed with sweetness and flavor. The bright orange color of the "mango chu-hai" creates a tropical mood.

In the language of TaketomiIsland, "theedun" means Taketomi and "shidamee" means snail. They named the restaurant for customers to relax and unwind. There are terrace seats where you can feel the nature and tatami room seats with a calm atmosphere. During the evening hours, islanders also visit the restaurant and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Located near the West Pier, this Dining Area is marked by a large red tile. The "Value Set (daily special)," which comes with a mug of drink and three kinds of snacks, is a great treat for those who drink alcoholic beverages. The snacks include "Squid with Vinegared Miso", "Gurukun Nanbanzuke", "Papaya with Vinegared Sweet Papaya", and "Potato & Macaroni Salad", all of which are beautifully arranged, and you can also choose from beer, island sake, and other alcoholic beverages.
There are also other menu items that go perfectly with sake, such as "Seika Chikiage & Island Chili Sausage" and "Gurukun Tatsuta-age (fried gurukun)," all of which are made with Yaeyama ingredients.

Folk songs are played in the clean and bright restaurant, and the walls are decorated with large Ise lobsters and pictures of TaketomiIsland, which will make you feel like you are on a trip. The tatami room seating is a nice feature for families with small children.
The restaurant also offers a wide variety of other meals, such as "Okinawa agu (pork) curry," "mozuku rice bowl," and "taco rice. Ice cream is available for take-out, so after dinner, we recommend taking a walk on the island while gazing at the stars in the night sky with an ice cream in hand.

This long-established soba restaurant is popular for its traditional Yaeyama soba and soki soba. For dinner, be sure to try a la carte dishes that go well with sake. Tofu Chanpuru" made with fresh vegetables from TaketomiIsland and island tofu, is delicious with a sprinkle of "Piyasi" (island pepper), which has a spicy tropical aroma.
The mozuku tempura is made from mozuku seaweed that the owner's family picks from the sea every year in April and May, when mozuku is in season. The "fruit wine with soda (seekwasa)," which is popular for its refreshing aroma and smooth taste, has mashed fruits mixed in, which you can also enjoy for its texture.

The fresh, fresh bitter melon is used in abundance in the fried noodles, and the savory flavor and salty taste of this dish is sure to linger in your mouth.

Dining Area near Taketomi Post Office. The recommended menu item, "Oven-baked Cartilage Soki" is served after the soki has been simmered for a day and left overnight. The tender soki is stewed in sweet and spicy sauce, and the rich cheese and sour mustard flavor will whet your appetite.
The "Recommended Seafood" features fried prawns from TaketomiIsland as well as fried squid and Okinawa's local fish, gurukun, with a crispy texture. The handmade tartar sauce is mild and goes well with the seafood. Awamori chu-hi (Okinawa citrus drink) with seekwasa (sea squirt) and passion fruit is also popular.

For dinner, you can enjoy "Island Tofu Salad," "Gurukun Salad," and "Seared Ishigaki Beef Cold Salad" as cold dishes. For snacks, there are a variety of menus that make the most of island ingredients, such as "Ishigaki Island Moromi Pork Coarse Ground Sausage" from the popular Yaeyama handmade workshop "Ishigakijima Jugoban", "Thick Fried Island Tofu" from Ishigakijima Tomo Tofu with a strong soybean flavor, "Fried Tebichi (pork feet)" and "Red Imo Croquette".
You can also order from the lunch menu, which offers a variety of Okinawa's standard menu items, and Yaeyama soba noodles and set menus are also available.
