Tsugaru Girl
I am a Tsugaru shamisen player and a bilingual Tsugaru cultural expert who can also make the traditional craft of kogin-sashi. In order to promote my hometown, Aomori, to the rest of the country, I am working hard every day as an evangelist of Tsugaru culture, making full use of my extensive relationships with local artists and vendors. Currently, he is working to make the product lineup of the store in Hoshino Resorts KAI Tsugaru even more attractive.

Local Guide FAQ
- What do you recommend (places, experiences, food) in the Aomori area?
I recommend Iwakisan Shrine, located about 40 minutes by car from Hoshino Resorts KAI Tsugaru. It is very famous locally for its good fortune of marriage.
It attracts not only the good match between a man and a woman, but also various other good matches, such as a business match and a money match.
The water in the water fountain is said to come from the Mt. You can drink it, so if you are going to climb Mt.
- Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.
Namioka Castle Ruins, located about 20 minutes by car from Aomori Airport, has very beautiful cherry blossoms from late April to early May!
Behind the cherry blossoms, you can see apple fields and Mt. Hakkouda, making you feel like you are enjoying Aomori all at once.
Since there are no festivals held here, the view is not disturbed by food stalls. Enjoy taking pictures, taking a walk with your pet, or having a picnic with your family is also recommended.
- Where did you travel to last year and with whom?
I have traveled to Tohoku for relaxation, whether it was a luxury trip with colleagues, a girls' trip with local friends, or a solo trip.
I love the Tohoku region so much that I always drive my own car and visit inns throughout the Tohoku region. My goal is to enjoy the inns, so I go out of my room and explore every corner of the inn.
- What do you do on your days off?
I am mainly engaged in beauty activities such as researching makeup, skin care, and going to hot springs. I like to change the hot springs I go to depending on my mood, try new packs, and shop for beauty products.
- Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?
My travel notebook and red seal book. I like visiting shrines, so when I see a torii gate on my travels, I tend to stop by.
