The popular "morning plate" uses mostly ingredients from Ishikawa Prefecture, such as herb-roasted Noto pork, fried eggs made from heirloom eggs, Kaga lotus root and Kanazawa soybeans stewed in tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and seasonal vegetables. Each bite of this luxurious dish will make you realize that there are many delicious foods in Ishikawa.

The morning menu can be ordered until 1:00 p.m., making it a great choice for a late morning brunch or lunch.

Boulangerie et Bistro Hiramipan

A popular restaurant whose name comes to mind when people think of breakfast in Kanazawa.

This bistro was renovated from a Taisho era ironworks and has a popular bakery attached to it. Three types of morning dishes are available, including croque-madame and quiche, all of which include a drink. Among them, the "Avocado Duca Toast" is rapidly gaining popularity. This hearty dish, made with cereal bread and topped with a mixed spice dukkah sauce made with avocado and nuts, a boiled egg, and cheese, is sure to fill both your stomach and your heart.

The bakery also serves as an eat-in restaurant, so you can have a light breakfast with freshly baked bread and coffee. About 40 kinds of breads, including those made with homemade yeast, are carefully prepared, and all are available by about 10:00 a.m.
