From Hamamatsu Castle to zoos, amusement parks, and theme parks featuring sweets and airplanes, the city and the Lake Hamana area are full of Properties for parents and children to enjoy together, making it an ideal area for outings with children. In addition, there are also famous local food restaurants near stations, along streets, and near tourist spots that are well-serviced for small children. Here are seven spots for fun and dining that will satisfy the whole family.

A 10-minute drive from Tateyamaji hot spring bus stop, this zoo is adjacent to Hamamatsu Flower Park. In the park, which makes full use of the natural terrain along the shore of Lake Hamana, about 100 species of animals are bred and exhibited, including large animals such as elephants, tigers, lions, giraffes, and polar bears.

Some monkeys can only be seen here in Japan.

One of the highlights of this zoo is the large variety of monkeys. There is an ape house with gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans, a monkey apartment where 22 rare species of monkeys from around the world can be seen, and a monkey mountain for Japanese monkeys. Among them, the golden lion tamarins, which can only be seen here in Japan, are a must-see. These small monkeys live in the Brazilian rainforest and are characterized by their golden fur and mane-like hair around their faces like a lion.

In addition to a petting area with free-range goats and sheep, visitors can feed kangaroos and Japanese macaques and take pictures with ponies on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Various Experience events are held mainly on weekends, and the most popular is the "Underwater TV Talking" held every Sunday and national holidays. Divers dive into the large 120-ton water tank and feed fish, conduct quizzes, and conduct underwater experiments. You can even talk with the divers who are equipped with a communication device and underwater camera, so you can observe what is going on underwater on the monitor and ask the divers whatever you are curious about.
After satisfying your intellectual curiosity, take a break. On a clear day, we recommend spending some time on the observation deck on the third floor, enjoying the view of Mt.

The Genkotsu hamburger steak comes with a choice of two sauces: demi-glace or onion.

The best feature of Genkotsu Hamburger steak is that the Staff/staff member finishes the hamburger steak right in front of you. The 100% beef hamburger steak is placed on a hot griddle, and the Staff/staff member cuts the hamburger steak in half and grills it while pressing the cross section against the griddle. The surface is browned over charcoal in advance, so it takes only a short time from the time it is brought to you until it is done. The recommended level of doneness is to leave the inside a little red, but they will cook it to your preference, so let them know ahead of time if you have any requests.
We also offer baby food and low-allergen children's menus, so families with small children can feel at ease. Children up to 4th grade elementary school also receive one free toy.
