Fuji. 2,000 fireworks are shot off in 30 minutes, and the elaborate program of rapid-fire, starmine, slanting fireworks, and shakudama are well received. This is the earliest fireworks display in the Fuji Five Lakes area, and is famous as the event that heralds the arrival of summer.
At the same time, the "Herb Festival" is held at Yagisaki Park and Oishi Park along the lakeside, where lavender blooms like a purple carpet. Watching the fireworks while being enveloped in the fragrance of the lavender flowers is also a tasteful way to enjoy the festival.

The fireworks display is a spectacular sight
The “Fuji Five Lakes Fireworks Festival” takes place every year starting on August 1. Kicking off the festival is the “Yamanakako Hoko Festival,” a celebration of gratitude for the lake. The fireworks begin at 8:00 PM. Approximately 10,000 fireworks, including large shells and “shakudama,” light up the summer night sky.
Highlights include the “Musical Star Mine,” where music and fireworks are perfectly synchronized, as well as rapid-fire fireworks. Another feature of this festival is the abundance of beautiful, photogenic fireworks, such as large-caliber shells and underwater fireworks. Viewing the fireworks up close from a sightseeing boat offers a dynamic and truly special experience.

This summer festival is held at Ryugu Shrine, located on the shores of Lake Saiko and dedicated to Toyotama-hime, the goddess of water. The fireworks begin at 7:30 p.m. The sight of large, blooming fireworks lighting up the night sky is truly magical.
Just as the excitement reaches its peak, a powerful series of star mines brings the event to a spectacular close. Because the venue is surrounded by mountains, the sound of the fireworks echoes like an echo, creating a truly immersive experience.

An atmospheric fireworks display held on a quiet mountain lake
The fireworks display is held at the serene and mysterious "Lake Motosu. Although the number of shots is only 1,000, it is a medium-sized display, but because it is surrounded by mountains on three sides, you can feel the echoes of the sound throughout your body, making it a very powerful event. The lakeside is relatively empty, so you can sit in your favorite spot and enjoy the fireworks in a relaxed atmosphere.
There are also a variety of shows to enjoy before the fireworks are launched, as well as a spectacular fire performance in the finale.

The finale of the Fuji Five Lakes Fireworks Festival is a big event!
With a history of over 100 years, this is the largest fireworks display on the Fuji Five Lakes. Following the live music performance by the lakeside, the "Big Fireworks Display" will be held as a fitting finale to the festival.
The fireworks program is full of individuality and includes an extra-large starmine, a series of large fireworks, a musical starmine linked to music, and a "peacock firework" that draws a semicircle on the lake. The event is sure to be a great success.
