For those who love to drink, why not enjoy Hirosaki City apples with cider? Fermented from apple juice, cider has a gorgeous aroma and a light, carbonated taste. The Hirosaki Cider Kobo Kimori, located in the Hirosaki City Apple Park, brews ciders using apples from eight apple farms. There are four types: "Dry," which is dry and goes well with meals; "Sweet," which is perfect as an aperitif or with sweets; "Harvest," which is only available for a limited time and uses only apples harvested that year; and "Green," which is only available in spring. Visitors can observe the cider making process at the workshop and sample the ciders for 300 yen per glass.
