Pancakes that melt in your mouth as gently as light snow
A concept store of Lutao, a pastry store famous for its cheesecakes, one of the two buildings in a row is a café and the other is a store selling cakes and breads. The café's most popular menu item is its exquisite pancakes, fluffy and baked with cream cheese and ricotta cheese added to the batter. They have a gentle texture that softly melts in your mouth. In addition to the "plain" pancakes with refreshing "Biei milk" milk ice cream, maple syrup, and original fresh cream, there are also pancakes with a combination of fruits and seasonal pancakes. There is also a wide variety of other menu items such as parfaits and fresh pasta.
Lutau's only bakery, too
The store building houses the only bakery in Lutao, where visitors can purchase homemade bread made with natural birch camellia yeast. In addition to bread, cakes, chocolates, and baked goods are also available for purchase. You can also buy freshly made "Douvre Fromage" cheesecake, which is extremely popular as an ordered item. In summer, the original soft-serve ice cream is very popular, and the "Cinq Fromages," made with five kinds of cheese, is a must-try.

Soft ice cream and smoothies made in the store are also popular
Some of the sweets are made on the spot, as the owner says, "I want to offer freshly made products as much as possible. The cream puffs are made with a crispy pie crust and filled with a sweet cream upon order. Other drinks on sale include tapioca café au lait, which is made by boiling tapioca on the spot, and smoothies made with locally grown vegetables and fruits. Directly operated by an an (red bean paste) manufacturing company, the red bean paste is delicious!
This taiyaki store is directly operated by Tanaka Seian (headquartered in Tokyo), which has a factory in Chitose City. The specialty of the taiyaki is the red bean paste. Made from Hokkaido azuki beans and sugar, the lightly sweet red bean paste goes well with the crisp, light, thin skin. In addition to the plain Ogura-an, there are five other varieties: low-sugar Ogura-an, Koshi-an, Kuro-sengoku-an, and cream. A bag of crispy taiyaki wings is sometimes offered to customers who purchase taiyaki, depending on the day.
The summer-only "cold taiyaki" and "iced taiyaki" are also popular!
There is a small eat-in corner in the store, where self-service tea is available and you can taste freshly made hot taiyakis. In summer, "chilled taiyaki," a chewy dough made from tapioca flour and filled with koshian whip or custard whip, is also popular. We also recommend the "iced taiyaki," which is made by freezing the dough.
Other unique local dishes include the "Taiyaki Burger Sandwich" made with fluffy dough using eggs from Chitose, with Ogura margarine sandwiched in between.
