Fireworks displays are held in Kinugawa hot springs from summer through autumn. The viewing sites are the Hot spring ryokans and hotels in the hot spring resort area. Depending on the Property, you can enjoy the fireworks while relaxing in the comfort of your room.

The fireworks display is held every year as part of the Nantai-san Ascent Festival, the largest Shinto ritual at the Nikko Futaarasan Shrine's Nakamiya Shrine. The fireworks are reflected on the surface of the lake, making the fireworks even more spectacular. It is also known for the fireworks that are shot off at an angle to the surface of the lake, a rarity in Japan.

The fireworks display is held in the Imaichi district of Nikko City and will be revived in 2023 under the new name of "Nikko Fireworks Display. The 250-meter wide Oya River is decorated with numerous fireworks of various sizes, attracting spectators. The venue is Daiya River Park and the riverbed, where visitors can spread out leisure sheets and watch the fireworks at their leisure. Many stalls are lined up and the area is crowded with people strolling around.

The cool riverbed is perfect for viewing the fireworks. There are no tall buildings nearby, so you can enjoy the fireworks reflected on the surface of the river.
