The dinner "bamboo course" includes three Amakusa prawns, four kinds of fish such as whitebait and squid, kakiage, and seasonal vegetable tempura. Try the light-flavored ingredients simply with salt, and the strong-flavored ones with grated daikon with yuzu and tempura sauce for a refreshing taste. Kakiage is also recommended to be served on top of rice in a tempura bowl.

For the batter, dilute whole egg and flour with 4 times water. And they try not to stir the ingredients as much as possible to avoid gluten, which is the cause of poor heat. When frying, they use a thick Kuji iron sand pan that does not lose temperature even when the ingredients are added, and they add the ingredients to the pan in order of lightest flavor in thick white sesame oil heated to 170 to 180 degrees Celsius.

The specialty is "Wakafu Omelette Rice (butter-flavored rice + demi-glace sauce). A beaten egg mixed with fried pork, onions, and green peppers is covered with buttered rice. The key to the flavor is the demi-glace sauce, which the chef carefully prepares over a period of three weeks. The sauce is characterized by a rich, mature taste with a moderate bitterness, and when intertwined with the half-boiled egg and buttered rice, it creates an exquisite mellowness.

The owner, who entered the culinary world immediately after graduating from junior high school, opened the restaurant at the young age of 22 after training at a number of famous restaurants focusing on Western cuisine. Today, he stands at the restaurant with his two daughters, still wielding his skills in the same manner as when the restaurant was first established.
The interior of the store is a cozy space like a Showa-era coffee shop. Many repeat customers visit the restaurant for its reassuring atmosphere and warm food. Desserts and drinks such as coffee are also available, making it an attractive place to take a breather after a meal.

Opened in March 2024, the restaurant is conveniently located a minute walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station. Light pours in through the large windows, and the spacious interior is furnished with table seating where you can relax and enjoy your time.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy quality yakitori in Akasaka, this is the place to go. We recommend the "Omakase Course," which includes four seasonal appetizers and seven types of yakitori skewers (including vegetable skewers) recommended for the day. We use carefully selected brand-name chickens such as Kuroiwa-dori, Horohorodori, and Suigo Aka-chicken. The artisanal technique of slow-grilling the chicken over binchotan charcoal enhances the flavor of the ingredients. The meal ends with thick chicken broth ramen noodles or rice topped with fragrant nori seaweed.

Located on the basement floor, the restaurant is a quiet and relaxed space despite its location in downtown Akasaka. Open until 4:00 a.m. on weekdays, it can be used as a luxurious place to end a late night of drinking with yakitori. The restaurant was relocated from Akasaka-dori in 2007 (Heisei 19). It is now located in a quiet environment about a 7-minute walk from Akasaka Station, where you can enjoy a meal in an elegant atmosphere.
