10:40 Dotonbori, Minami area of Osaka
Start from "The Osaka" area
Children and adults alike pose for a commemorative photo in front of the Glico sign.
The image of Osaka is Dotonbori, lined with giant billboards such as Glico. It is a popular area in the "Minami" district of downtown Osaka, where Namba, Shinsaibashi, and other unique areas are concentrated, where you can experience Osaka's culture in all its glory. Children's eyes are glued to the gaudy three-dimensional billboards that abound in the streets. Just walking around this vibrant area is fun and full of discoveries.
It is not only photo spots that abound. You can experience the "city of foodies" through the many restaurants serving local delicacies such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and other "konamon" (flour based food).

The tour takes about 20 minutes. You can enjoy Dotonbori from a different angle from strolling around.
The river cruise takes passengers over nine bridges across the Dotonbori River, including Nihonbashi and Ebisubashi bridges. On board, the "Osaka Guide Crew" introduces the sights along the river and the characteristics of each bridge with laughter. Some of the bridges are quite low, so it is thrilling to pass under them. Children will be fascinated by the up-close view of the bridges and the changing scenery.
The tour pauses in front of the famous Glico sign for a photo opportunity. The powerful Glico sign seen from the boat is a view that can only be seen on a cruise. Before arriving at the pier, the guide, crew, and passengers perform Osaka's famous "Osaka Jime," a hand-clapping ceremony. The cheerful shouts and clapping of hands echo each other, naturally bringing smiles to the faces of the passengers.

The omelette is served with sweet and sour ginger to refresh the palate. It enhances the taste of the omelette and makes the omelette more appetizing.
The Demi-katsuo Omelette Rice is very popular at the Ekimarche Shin-Osaka branch. The thick beef cutlet and demi-glace sauce add to the flavor of this hearty dish.
