Museum of art like a park located in the center of Kanazawa-shi. You can associate freely from the entrance and exit way where 4 points are here in the circular building which became glazed. The "swimming pool" that it's very popular in the pay exhibition zone seems to be the pool filled with water where. I make the surface of the water a boundary and look at mutual from the ground and underground, strange space spreads so that it's seen. Kanazawa Castle Park

I go around a ruin of a castle in Kaga Hyakumangoku.

Kanazawa Castle Park is the effective park I provided with a castle resided of a Kaga feudal clan Maeda family. A Kaga feudal clan first seigneur and Maeda Toshiie enter at Noto and begin castellation in earnest (in 1583) in 1583. When a donjon burned down by fire by a thunderbolt, it wasn't reconstructed from consideration to Shogunate Government of Edo after that. The one by which the Ishikawa gate designated as important cultural property at present was reconstructed in 1788 (1788). That I pass through the stone-piling excellent Ishikawa gate, recent years, an old map and an ancient document, and, there is row house (GOJIKKEN NA isn't liked.) etc. during restored water chestnut turret (a day, with the selling point of, turret) and fifty, and the beautiful contrast of a lead tile and Namako Kabe is must-see.

The daimyo garden a successive generations seigneur loved is reproduced.

There was a beautiful garden where a successive generations seigneur looked and enjoyed himself "Tamaizumi inmaru garden" in the Kanazawa castle formerly. It was abolished in Meiji Period, but its form was recent years, and was revived. Ike, Shima and Hashi are attracted in the castle about 380 years before, and also reproduce a daimyo garden of the Izumi Ike migration system which makes the utilized Tatsumi water for irrigation the water source faithfully now. Though I take a walk through the garden path where you can migrate, and rests from a garden at Waiting Room "Tamaizumi hermitage", it's possible to appreciate the same elegant garden as the Edo Period. A fantastic light up can also be enjoyed in Saturday and an appointed date every week.

Kenroku-en

The scenic garden ranked as a Three Great Gardens of Japan

The daimyo garden which is Mito's "Kairakuen" and one in Okayama's Three Great Gardens of Japan as well as "Korakuen" and represents Japan. That a Kaga feudal clan Godai eye seigneur and Tsunanori-Maeda made around the villa a garden hangs the long time on a first and a historical origin by a successive generations seigneur after that, and a grave garden like present has been completed. In early summer, Rabbit ear iris and Azalea, the color blooms vividly and it's dyed in colorful colored leaves in autumn in the park. The suspension of branches with rope to prevent a branch breaking with the heavy snow peculiar to Hokuriku area starts from November. Above all, in the park, suspension of branches with rope of Karasaki pine which takes pride in its best shape of branch is attention.

Samurai residence Atono village house

I look at the residence and the garden where samurai culture is told.

A lane of long mud wall and stone pavement leads to Nagamachi with the Samurai residence trace where an intermediate warrior of a Kaga feudal clan lived, an aim, much. It's "Samurai residence Atono village house" that it's opened to the public only in it. The family's social standing by which Nomura family has the history which continued for 1871 years until abolishment of feudal domains of (1871). It's the present residence that a mud wall and Furuki left the part and reconstructed a copy of wealthy merchant's house of a merchant cargo ship in a new location there. A coffered ceiling built with general hinoki (the quire which can't be struck) meets a highlight "in the upper row, while". Excellent design such as a sliding paper door door with diamond and the sliding door by which a landscape was drawn (sliding door) is seen.

The space as if I have time-travelled to the Edo Period

It's also elegant time to sit down in an open veranda and look at a garden. A colored carp swims expansively in a pond, and the scenery of the garden where taste is here such as the bayberry of an age of the tree for 400 years and the meandering water for which I press Furuki of a chinquapin and immediately near the great bridge of a garden lantern and cherry tree granite and the open veranda spreads.
The tea-ceremony room where I go up stone steps and have that in the 2nd floor "fubakuiori (bran tapir bean jam)" is also the place at which I'd like to drop in by all means. Powdered green tea and dry confectionery can be tasted comfortably while looking at a garden and healing a heart in sound of water.

Omicho Market

To the "Kanazawa's kitchen" full of energy.

There is history in about 300."Omicho Market". A store as much as about 170 is crowded and is a kitchen of Kanazawa-shi people who ply a local visitor and a chef of Restaurant, too the fruits and vegetables store and the butcher where Kaga vegetables and seasonal fruit are handled including a fish store marine products equals. A store of crab, Helicolenus hilgendorfi, the seafood on rice as well as an oyster's can buy fresh seafood for a gift and revolving sushi Hokuriku area is enriched. There are a lot of stores where I close business in the evening, so it's recommended to enjoy breakfast and lunch.

The history some restaurant district which represents Kanazawa

Shukeicho restaurant district, (, or, ZUEMACHI, but I'm here.)

Restaurant district in the riverside where lane walk is fun

Asano river is called an another name "Onagawa", and a neighborhood is giving taste off appropriate for Kanazawa. To be located in the west side on the Asano river, "Shukeicho restaurant district". An old name of the town restored for the first time nationwide in 1999, and it was Shukeicho formally. Being a place by Kyoka Izumi's relation of the author, and when wishing for a town from a bridge of Asano river big bridge and a medium, a worldview of an artistic novel is still felt. A box seat is built and entertained with a Kaga dish in a riverbed in summer.

I walk along a slope in the stone steps where a restaurant district and a residential area are tied.

When I enter a thin lane, you can meet the landscape full of feelings wetly. There are 2 slopes in the neighborhood, and the daytime doesn't also get the sun in a slope in the stone steps where Kazuemachi restaurant district and a shrine on the slope are tied "the darkness slope", and it's said that they passed for my husband people to avoid the eyes of others and meet Mr. geisha formerly. NISHI restaurant district

The quiet restaurant district where I have a lot of Mr. active geisha, too

There is around Teramachi where I crossed Saigawa called "Ogawa", like "by a day, with the selling point of, restaurant district", it was made around 1820 (1820), "with the selling point of, restaurant district". Taste is much as a grid goes out and is beautiful restaurant construction. Though the scale is compact, that the number of Mr. active geisha is largest, "with the selling point of, restaurant district".
