This "JRNikko station" is empty for the origin of the nice travel of Nikko. An event of a photographic exhibition is used as held multi-purpose space at present.

"Shin-kyo Bridge" of an entrance of the World heritage "shrines and temples in Nikko" and a beautiful arch

Sacred mountain in Kanto and Furuyashiro where the Mount Nantai is made the divine object "Nikko Futarasan-jinja"

The "Nikko Futarasan-jinja" which makes the Mount Nantai (Komyo and Futarasan) Mt. divine object and has been worshiped from the old days as the center of the mountain worship of Nikko. There is history which also collected belief from the Shogunate and a powerful family as a guardian god in Kanto. Three companies are enshrined in the Nikko city, and there is "Chugushi" where Mount Nantai is also a beginning of the path in between "Okumiya" and the two companies in "headquarters" (for photograph, main shrine) and the peak 2,486m and Chuzenji Lakeside in the city. It's registered as World heritage "shrines and temples in Nikko". Crystal of the luxurious art which charms the world "Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine"

"Nikko Futarasan-jinja" it's registered by World Cultural Heritage as "shrines and temples in Nikko" as well as "Mt. Nikko, Rinno-ji", domestic and abroad, "Nikko Tosho-gu Shrine" many tourists visit. The shrine where I moved dead Tokugawa Ieyasu from Kuno-zan and deified as a deity (in 1617) in 1617. The one by which three brigadier army Iemitsu built the present shrine building group in 1636 (1636). 55 structures including 8 houses of national treasure and 34 houses of important cultural property are arranged via an approach to Shrine and stairs using the natural topography, and a precinct takes pride in its overwhelming scenic beauty.

A sculpture of a monkey is also besides three monkeys in a god stable, and it's said that these are expressing human life. Please see it carefully while imagining a story.

That "Yomeimon" is just before the inside and the hall of worship, "Karamon Gate". It's placing to which I say that the spirit of the dead person who made Ieyasu a great monarch is the gate from which enshrined main shrine is protected. It's the feature that the whole is applied in white by whitewash (whitewash). 34 seats of vintage furniture which agrees with the atmosphere of the old private house is used in some store, and it feels like calming down wetly, and coffee can be tasted. It's also nice to look at a sunny courtyard through the window and take a book of the Nikko relation lined up in the hand, how to have time.
If a favorite drink and a set of a cake are hungry, "black curry of an Imperial Villa expert" "omelet and rice" etc. is also recommended.
