She is a dialect girl who speaks Tsugaru dialect and is very native to Tsugaru and welcomes Guest/customers in Tsugaru dialect, which is hard to imagine from her 100-point smile. She is always cheerful and easy to talk to, and is loved by both senior and junior Staff/staff members alike. Local Guide FAQ

What do you recommend (places, experiences, food) in the Aomori area?

Shichirin Village is located in a market called "Hakushoku Center" where you can buy seafood at the market and grill it on a shichirin (a charcoal griddle) for two hours for 350 yen per adult. It is available for 350 yen per adult for two hours, and rice and Hachinohe's local dish senbeijiru (rice cracker soup) are also available for purchase, so you can enjoy a BBQ atmosphere without bringing anything. It is a place I always go when my friends come to visit.

Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.

The Tatehana Kishibe Morning Market in Hachinohe City has over 300 stalls, and I recommend the Hachinohe Saba-meshi Croquette (also known as Sabakoro, 80 yen per piece), which you can buy there. It is a rice croquette made of mackerel mixed with rice and filled with cheese and shiso leaves. They are so popular that they sell out in about an hour, so be sure to get up early to try them.

Where did you travel to last year and with whom?

I went to Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, with my seniors to support a professional ice hockey team in Hachinohe City. On the way there, we had lunch at a Utsunomiya gyoza (dumpling) restaurant called "Rairazse." We were able to compare gyoza from different gyoza restaurants based in Utsunomiya, which was a great experience for me as a gyoza lover.

What do you do on your days off?

I like cafes, so I often go there to find cafes in Misawa and Hachinohe cities. I love the stylish interior, the food containers, and other fashionable spaces that vary from place to place.

Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?

Since I often take buses and ferries for travel, I always bring an eye mask. I always bring one that smells good when I put it on, and it helps me sleep well even on long trips.
