She is a fashionable girl who is always on the lookout for local information. When you want to know what or where to see on Instagram, ask her and you are sure to get the answer you want! Sometimes she is an instructor of Kogin Sashimi, sometimes she is a bartender at Biidoro Bar, and sometimes she lives with Tsugaru culture every day.

Local Guide FAQ
- What do you recommend (places, experiences, food) in the Aomori area?
The Twelve Lakes of the Shirakami Sanchi (mountainous region). The Twelve Lakes are a group of lakes and marshes surrounded by beech forests in the western part of the Shirakami Sanchi (mountain range). This pond is larger than Aoike and features a mysterious gradation from blue to emerald green.
There is also a teahouse nearby that serves tea brewed from the fresh water rising from the pond. Visitors to Lake Juniko can enjoy the different hues and depths of blue in each pond, and finish their visit with a cup of sencha tea and the pond in the side pot to fully appreciate Aomori's natural beauty.
The nearby Twelve Lakes Station faces the Sea of Japan, and we recommend that you spend some time by the seaside looking out over the Sea of Japan.
- Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.
Hirosaki City Apple Park is a 20-minute drive from Hirosaki Station. As the name suggests, the park is planted with apple trees, and around the beginning of May, the park is decorated with lovely apple blossoms.
In the background of the apple fields, Mt. Iwaki, also known as Hirosaki Fuji, can be seen, providing a beautiful Instagram-worthy view when the weather is clear and the sun is setting.
In addition, there is a cider factory, kimori, in the park, and a variety of apple goods (sweets, juice, alcohol, sundries, etc.) are available at the store, making it the perfect place to pick up apple souvenirs.
- Where did you travel to last year and with whom?
I went to Thailand with a friend from college.
It was a great trip for me, as I love Thai food and had been depleted of Thai food in Aomori.
I decided to go to Thailand once every three years.
- What do you do on your days off?
On days when you want to relax, you can read, do housework, cook, and carefully do the things you take for granted every day while playing your favorite music, and take it easy....
On active days, I go out with friends early in the day, soak in hot springs, enjoy good food and drinks, watch a movie, and so on. Lately, I've also been looking forward to discovering Hirosaki's cozy izakayas and cafes.
- Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?
This is a palm-sized travel book. I boldly use it to explore the city more and more, folding pages, marking, and cutting out only the parts I need.
By using it and traveling together with it, what was once just a travel book has turned into one of the most endearing memories by the end of the trip.
