Narusawa Ice Cave, located at the eastern entrance of the Aokigahara Sea of Trees, is one of the representative lava caves at the foot of Mt. In the past, ice was brought here from the lake in the winter and used as natural storage in the summer. Some of this is still recreated in the cave.

4Roadside Station Katsuyama

Michi-no-Eki Katsushima, located on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, is a popular rest spot where you can take a breather on the way to sightseeing.

7Yamanakako Panorama-dai
One of the best viewpoints of Mt. Fuji in the area
The Yamanakako Panorama-dai, located on the prefectural road leading from Yamanakako to Mikuni Pass, is a famous observation deck from which visitors can view Lake Yamanaka below and Mt. Fuji. Depending on the weather, you can even see as far as the Southern Alps, and more and more people visit the observatory to take pictures.
Depending on the time of day and weather conditions, you may be able to see a scene that is unique to that day, but the most beautiful time to visit is at dusk. The lake's surface turns bright red at dusk, creating a magical moment.

Tenjozan, where the ropeway is located, is also the setting for Osamu Dazai's version of "Kachikachiyama. From the 1,075-meter-high observatory, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, and even the Southern Alps (Mt. Akaishi and Mt. Arakawa) on a clear day.
In the fall, the ropeway passes through the golden leaves of the trees. The view of Lake Kawaguchi below and the autumn leaves coloring the lakeside is exceptional.

9Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine
Fuji's guardian god for more than 1,900 years.

Seven types of water sports can be experienced on the west shore of Kawaguchi Lake.
One of the most popular is wakeboarding. Holding on to a rope connected to a motorboat or other vehicle, you can glide along the lake, which is very exhilarating. Not only can you enjoy the sense of speed, but it is also thrilling to jump, sometimes depending on the waves.
Flyboarding is another activity that uses the pressure of water from a water bike to fly through the air. Both of these activities are available in special packages that include a water balloon, in which you enter a large balloon and move around on the water.

13Pottery "HAZUKI" Kawaguchiko Store
A special pottery class where you can make several pieces at one time!
Among the several Ceramics Properties in the Kawaguchiko area, this atelier offers a Hagi-yaki Pottery Experience. Hagiyaki is a traditional craft of Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and is characterized by its gentle colors and rustic texture. A local Hagiyaki artist couple will give you a lecture in a friendly atmosphere.
You can choose to make a teacup, a plate, a bowl, or anything else you wish, and you can make three or four pieces in one Experience using either the electric wheel or the hand wheel. If you want to make more than three pieces, you can add more for about 1,000 yen per piece.
