What are your recommendations for food in the Kanazawa area?: The first thing I recommend to visitors to Kanazawa is Kanazawa Oden. Kanazawa citizens eat Kanazawa Oden throughout the year. There are various ingredients unique to Kanazawa, among which bai clam and crab masks have been my favorite since I was a child. For those who have been to Kanazawa more than once, we also recommend the "Dai-nana Gyoza".

Please sneak in some hole-in-the-wall places that you know because you live there.: I recommend "Saigawa River," which can be reached by a short walk from Katamachi. You can feel the four seasons with cherry blossoms in spring, lush trees in summer, autumn cherry blossoms and autumn leaves in fall, and snowy mountain scenery in winter. It is also a route for high school students, and it is somewhat relaxing to look at the mountains from the bridge.

What is your most memorable trip?: I went to Los Angeles and Phoenix to watch NBA games. I had been dreaming of seeing my favorite team play for two years, and it came true (and it was a close game and a lot of fun), and I truly felt "Oh, I'm so glad I worked so hard for this. This trip gave me my next goal, and I will work hard toward it again.

What do you do on your days off?: On my days off, I often do yoga to refresh my body and mind. I also like to soak up the sun, so during the nice weather, I sometimes get take-out from my favorite bakery and have a picnic by the river.

Is there anything you always take with you on a trip?: I always bring my Gopro. It is useful in that it is resistant to camera shake and can be used in water. By taking videos, I can remember the trip more vividly, saying, "I remember how they were reacting at that moment.
