Yatsugatake Club", built in the forest at an elevation of 1,360 meters above sea level, is a very popular Cafe-Restaurant & Gallery with a long line of people waiting to park on weekends and holidays. The late Hiroshi Yagyu, an actor and president of the Wild Bird Society of Japan, purchased the land more than 40 years ago and began creating a forest of deciduous broadleaf trees with his family and Staff/staff members. On the premises there is a café restaurant, gallery store, exhibition stage, and garden store, where visitors can enjoy food and desserts made with ingredients from Yatsugatake, experience art, or take a leisurely walk along the walking trails. Visitors from children to adults can enjoy spending their time in their own way.

In December 2025, the forest was certified as a "nature symbiosis site" promoted by the Japanese government to maintain a forest rich in biodiversity, and guided tours and retreat tours are held in the forest.

On sunny days, we recommend sitting on the terrace where you can enjoy the pleasant breeze. In addition to drinks, the restaurant offers a full lineup of food items, including daily sandwiches made with local ingredients and shortcakes made with strawberries from local farms. The "Hot An Butter Sandwich" using anko (sweet bean paste) from Ishizakaya, a Japanese sweets shop in Kofu, is a popular menu item that you must try.

Café time with a view of the stylish corridor that looks like a European townscape is so elegant that you will be tempted to linger for a while. This café is directly managed by Nakanishi Farm, a peach farm that has been in operation for generations in Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki-shi, the largest peach-growing area in Japan. In summer, many people from all over Japan visit the cafe for parfaits and smoothies made with fresh peaches picked in the morning. Because peeling the skin causes the peaches to bruise faster, only peaches picked that day are used, and the peels are peeled only after receiving orders. Only a farm-direct operation can offer fresh peaches that are sweet and ripe, yet still have a nice firmness to them.
Yellow peach parfait and grape parfait are available from September, and parfait with peach compote and jellied peaches from October. You can also check the recommendations for the season on the website.

A small confectionary store located in a residential area in Fujimi-cho, Suwa-gun, Nagano Prefecture. As the name of the store means "four seasons" in French, it uses seasonal ingredients purchased from local farmers as much as possible to create different cakes, pies, and baked goods for each season. The tart made with Suzuakane strawberries from Fuji is especially popular for its gorgeous appearance and fresh flavor that fills the mouth with sweetness and sourness. The pie made with local rhubarb is an addictive combination of the freshness of the rhubarb jam and the crunchy dough. Cologne Coffee Hakushu Main Store has been in business for over 50 years in Hakushu, located at the foot of the famous "Kaikomagatake" mountain in the Southern Alps. At the time of its opening, it was rare to find a specialty coffee shop that roasted its own coffee, and through repeated trial and error, the store advanced its own roasting process.
High-quality coffee beans carefully selected from around the world are carefully roasted in a roasting machine manufactured by Diedrich Coffee Roaster in the U.S., which is used by many famous home-roasting stores in Seattle. Of course, coffee is brewed with Hakushu's famous water. The mellow water enhances the rich flavor of the coffee.

The "Hakushu Blend" is a must-try when visiting the store. The coffee is an original blend created to "express the wonderful scenery of Hakushu, such as the murmuring of the clear Oshira River and the majestic peaks of Mount Kaikomagatake, through coffee. There are two types of coffee: "Horoniga," with a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness, and "Mellow," with a berry-like acidity and soft taste, both of which go well with Japanese food and sweet confections. We recommend tasting them with cakes that change daily, such as rare cheese cake and chocolate cake.
