It takes about 20 minutes by car from Matsue. This hot spring ryokan is located in Tamatsukuri hot spring in Izumo, the Land of the Gods, and all rooms have outdoor hot springs. The hot spring is famous for its historic hot spring water for beautiful skin, which is mentioned in "Izumo no kuni fudoki (Record of the Fudoki of Izumo Province)".
Introduction page
The hot spring is famous for its skin-beautifying qualities, and can be fully enjoyed not only in the Public hot spring, but also in the Guest room Outdoor hot spring.
KAI Local Flavors meals are prepared using seasonal ingredients such as Lake Shinji clams and crabs. It is also a tasteful way to experience Matsue's tea ceremony culture in the tea room with a view of the Japanese garden. In addition, nightly "Iwami Kagura" dances based on mythology are performed (free of charge). You can feel the culture of Izumo close at hand.
