1KUMAGERA
Celebrating 38 years in business, Kumagera is a popular name in Furano. The popular menu item is the Furano Wagyu Roast Beef Bowl. Marbled Furano Wagyu sirloin is laid on a bed of rice, lightly seared, and served with special sauce and wasabi, a style that has been a favorite for 30 years. Another specialty is the "Cheese Tofu" made of fresh Furano milk, which is handmade at the restaurant, and offers the delicious taste of fresh raw milk like mozzarella cheese.

Furano became famous as a tourist destination as the setting for the TV drama "Kita no Kuni Kara" (From the North). 2TSUDAI-DOKONSON
Yudokudoson is located in a quiet corner of the town, just a short walk from Furano Station. The popular menu item is the "Om + Sausage Curry. The roux is an original recipe made by frying onions for three days and simmering them with about 30 different spices, adding more as it goes. The omelette is filled with an original blend of cheese and served semi-cooked and fluffy. The spicy roux and mild cheese-filled omelette are a perfect match.

The owner and his friends built the building 45 years ago using old Furano lumber, and it is still being carefully used and repaired. 3Masaya
This teppan/okonomiyaki restaurant celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. The popular menu item is the Furano Omu Curry, a local dish created in 2004, which is now served at 10 restaurants, each with its own unique flavor.
The characteristic of Masaya's Furano Omu Curry is its teppan-yaki style. Butter soy sauce rice with Furano butter, grilled pork tenderloin, and a semi-boiled omelette are cooked on the grill in front of you, and topped with demi-curry simmered in red wine. The dish is served in a heated skillet, so it stays hot for a long time.

This hamburger shop, directly operated by Furano Farm, is open for a limited time from spring to fall. Furano Farm manufactures ham, bacon, and other products under the motto of "bringing out the maximum flavor of the ingredients themselves. The patties, bacon, and sausages used for the hamburgers are proudly made there, the soft and fluffy buns are originals from the popular bakery Furano Bakery, and the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions are locally grown morning vegetables. The 100% fresh pork patties are hand-kneaded and baked to order, so you can enjoy the juicy texture of the meat.

5Bistro Le Chemin
This is a restaurant where you can enjoy creative French cuisine that focuses on seasonal Furano ingredients and vegetables. The owner-chef, who trained at a three-star French Restaurant, fell in love with Furano's ingredients and opened the restaurant in 2000. The popular lunch menu is the "Chemin Lunch. This hearty lunch course includes an assortment of appetizers, soup, homemade bread, a main plate, and dessert, and is packed with the best of Furano's seasonality. In addition to using contract vegetables from farmers who specialize in organic and pesticide-free vegetables, we also use vegetables from our own vegetable garden.

6Ferme La Terre Biei
The restaurant and store opened in 2017 on top of a hill in Biei.
The popular menu item is the "Stewed hamburger steak with Hokkaido Wagyu beef" lunch set. Not only is the hamburger steak of Hokkaido Wagyu beef stewed in demi-glace sauce delicious, but the set's specialty soup, "Daichi no Soup," is superb. It is made from Hokkaido's true kelp broth and seasonal vegetables.
You can enjoy a lunch that reflects the thought that has gone into each and every ingredient from Biei and Hokkaido, such as morning vegetables directly from farmers and fresh Jersey milk from a nearby dairy farm.

7Blanc Rouge
This restaurant is like a hideaway tucked away in a grove of trees just up the hill in Biei. The popular menu item loved by locals is the beef stew. The beef stew is tender and tender, the vegetables from Biei are cut into large pieces, and the rich stew is very hearty. A salad of local vegetables is served with a choice of homemade Biei wheat bread or rice.
Potato dauphinoise (potato gratin) is another popular menu item. It is a gratin using only Biei potatoes, milk, cream, garlic, and cheese. You can taste the texture, sweetness, and richness of the ingredients themselves.
