1Mexican Foods OBBLIGATO
Mexican soul food in Yomitan Village that continues to be loved by locals.
The Mexican-American owner opened the restaurant in 1976 as a place to "casually enjoy the taste of Mexican home cooking at any time. The popular "enchilada Mexicano" offers authentic Mexican flavor. The special chili sauce topping is an addictive taste that has remained unchanged since the restaurant's founding. It is a favorite among local repeat customers.
The "Macho Nachos" are a hearty, oven-baked dish of large tortillas and cheese, served with avocado dip or sour cream.
Locals, tourists, and foreigners mingle in the exotic atmosphere of the restaurant.
Two types of tacos are on the menu: soft tacos and crispy tacos, which are rare in Okinawa. The "carnitas," which are made by slowly simmering pork for eight hours and then baking it until crispy, are a rarity in Okinawa.
A vegan menu is also available to meet the needs of health-conscious customers. The restaurant is also open for take-out, so it is recommended to take out tacos and macho nachos and eat them on the beach in the neighborhood.

In addition to the bulgogi set meal, the tak gomtang set meal (1,000 yen), which is low-calorie, high-protein chicken stew, is also recommended. Specializing in tacos, a popular local snack
This taco specialty restaurant, which has been in business for 30 years, was opened by a couple living in Chatan Town who realized their dream of becoming a taco shop. The popular menu item, tacos, can be ordered from a single piece, making it easy to eat as a light meal.
The savory fried dough has a unique texture that combines crunchiness and stickiness. The handmade taco meat, fresh lettuce, and sliced tomatoes are sandwiched between the tacos, and the homemade chili sauce is poured generously over the top.
Freshly made to order, the best taste of all!
Upon entering the brightly lit restaurant, you will see a menu sign in front. For first-timers who are unsure of what to order, we recommend the "Taco Ya Plate," an assortment of tacos, taco rice, French fries, and homemade onion rings.
The owner says that the taco dough, which is made through daily trial and error, tastes best when it is freshly fried. You can enjoy the true essence of local food, freshly made and hot, at the eat-in restaurant.
